Friendly staff, nice day
Overall our experience was quite nice, with one exception....we booked, and were confirmed on the email confirmation for, a round at Pelham but somehow the GolfNow system had us on Split Rock. Unfortunately, there was no way for the facility (busy) to switch us back to the other course, so we had to play the more difficult (Split Rock) of the two courses. Unfortunate.
Did not like Split Rock
Signed up to play Pelham, but was assigned to Split Rock which I did NOT enjoy!!!
Not my favorite course -
I thought I was booking Pelham & & - I don’t event wish to play split Ri
Lack of Carts - big issue
Tee times got completely backed up big time.
Arrived for a 3:15 tee time at 2:45. At 2:45 they were just letting the 2:15 tee time on the course! Why? Because there were no more golf carts (WHAT???!). So, everyone someone came off 18, they had to rush the cart to the next waiting group.
How how how. Does a course run out of carts. We could’t even finish 18 holes and would have been able to if we were on the 1st hole at our tee time. I should be asking for a refund.
Greeeeeena fast and undulating
Very good shape for this time of year… greens are super fast with very subtle breaks. I played next door pelham course which to me is at least 8-10 strokes easier
Afternoon Outing
There was a 1pm outing on the pelham, my tee time was 12:30p, so I got the stub at the pro shop and went to hole one on Pelham, and was joined by two singles. I was told previously that booking with "Tee off" would mean playing Pelham, so I went to Pelham. A mower rode past us on one to mow the tee box on two. We waited on two, not knowing why, until a cart arrived from the pro shop to inform us Pelham was closed, outing, only Split Rock was open. The starter at Split rock was yelling at us about a late start and using three carts, even after we explained we were strangers and unaware of the course change. He seemed to calm down after two foursomes arrived, and let us tee off. perfect day ruined by a misunderstanding
Good time
Cannot determine which course we’re playing until we arrive. This is not ideal. We should be able to choose when we book the reservation.
