Who knew
I grew up in the south Bronx and spend most of my youth playing basketball and stick ball. It’s not until later in life that I found out about golf and it’s really convenient that there is such a lovely course only a short distance from where I live. Moshulu is a little treasure and we will definitely be regulars.

The Usual Great Day Not Working
The greens are really coming around, rolling true and showing the teeth in its understated subtle contours. The fairways are filling in and the surprise bad breaks due to bald patches and bad lies are disappearing. The pace was decent, 2h15m for nine. Could have been better but not aggravating.

Great pace of play, slow greens...
Greens are still recovering from aeration a bit, and ran pretty slow because of that. Aside from that, the course is in decent shape and they are putting a lot of work into the First Tee area. I'm pretty sure that they are doing tee times in 15 minute intervals which made the pace of play amazing. The staff was very good about communication and getting us out on time. Wish it was a little cheaper for 9 holes, or that the cart was included, but overall a nice little course that's worth a try if you are looking for a quicker round!

Perfect weather, perfect company
Got to make three new friends today at the course. The company was great, the weather sublime, the golf not so sublime, but not ridiculous either. The greens are still a little bumpy with the aeration and top dressing, but they're getting up to speed and into good condition.
