The Dunes At Maui Lani Golf Course

Very interesting and at times challenging layout with lots of elevation change.

Only negative is the carts are in pretty rough shape, but other then that was a good day.

Great Value for a Maui course. Links style, lots of sand traps. Nice views, lots of slooe. Greens are well kept up.

Only negative were the bunkers. Some had too much sand and others didn't have enough. Raking seemed to be a problem as well. Cart girl was very helpful on a couple of occasions.

The course is much improved over last year at this time; however, your bunkers need sand. Hitting off hard dirt that is shaped like the bottom of a deep bowl isn’t fun. I did enjoy the course overall though

Bunkers were hard packed soil. Club bounce produced faulty results.

Bunkers were packed soil - no sand. As soon as bound hit soil it deflected into ball resulting in problems.

Carts are old and barely held together.

First time playing the Dunes. Loved it! Only bummer, the course has no liquor license, so no beers while you’re playing your round. Great views of the mountains. Overall, worth the coin and book a round here on your next vacation to Maui rather than the expensive resort courses.
