The Dunes At Maui Lani Golf Course

Was in excellent condition. In comparison to the other courses on the island, I think this far and away the best value for your money. The hills and sand dunes make for a great layout with a lot of variety. The greens were also in great shape.

Stay in the fairway or you are lost. Windy but a lot of times wind was a friend. Great views and scenic drives greens were in perfect condition.

Beautiful course. Dramatic scenery from surrounding mountains. Very hilly, fun, interesting course that required some thinking as you moved around the varying slopes. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy to access. Course was very convenient from our rental home on the north shore.

The course is plenty long and in decent condition. The green are very slow Bermuda. The layout is good and interesting and the pace of play was god

The course overall was in good shape and presented a good challenge. Several of the holes are a bit funky in the fact you cannot see your landing area and the slope of the fairway. The greens for the most part were in good shape save for a couple that were very patchy which made for bouncy putts. I enjoyed the course and will play it again in the future.

I loved it. The greens were really well kept. Friendly staff. Back 9 is way harder but really cool holes. Would come play again. I wish it was cheaper though.

This is a great course. Disappointed that they just plugged the greens the day before and it didn’t disclose that info when we booked our tee times online. Not the courses fault.

The course was somewhat difficult with many bunkers (hence, "the dunes"...). Pace of play was 4.5 almost 5 hours, and it was off and on rain showers. It's not as expensive so vacay golfers hit the ball everywhere! The greens are slower than many, the fairways are lumpy. But - you're playing golf in Hawaii, right?

The course conditions were very good, greens a little firm but would still hold. The design accommodates the terrain with the front being somewhat benign but the back gets interesting with some steep elevations changes. Some course knowledge might have saved some strokes. A second opportunity to play the Dunes will be more enjoyable given some do's and don'ts..

Google Maps when you enter the address puts you a mile away. When you put in the course name, you are directed to the maintenance storage area. Greens were in great shape, but sand traps need much better raking, since there are none available because of covid state guidelines.

Good value for golf on Maui. The greens were in great condition and putted very well. The course has good degree of difficulty. Really enjoyed it. Pace of play was good on front 9 and slowed up on back 9 but was decent. Unfortunately a bit cloudy so could not enjoy the views of the mountains. Would definitely play again if fortunate enough to return to Maui.
