Designed by Robin Nelson, The Dunes at Maui Lani is immaculately maintained and brilliantly laid out. It is a tribute to the great links courses of Ireland that more than one golf writer has described as a "British Open course on Maui." Stunning dunes dot the terrain at every corner, challenging the golfer at every hole.
In addition to 18 holes of championship golf, The Dunes offers the only lighted practice range in central Maui, with grass tees, fairway and green-side bunkers and a pitching and putting green, plus an air-conditioned pavilion. Also, when not on the golf course, golfers can enjoy a four-star meal at Cafe O'Lei at The Dunes.

Fabulous greens
Excellent course. Mountain course with several elevation changes. Course was in excellent shape.
Not for the average golfer. Very hilly with almost every green elevated. Plays much longer that the yardage.
Awsome course layout.
Greens have never been better, second best course on the island for me a 4 handi cap.

Great course with many rolling hills
I really enjoyed the course. It was much better than I expected. It had a great layout over rolling hills. I played on a Friday around noon and it was backed up on every tee, but we still played in four hours. will be back again to play this course.
Best everything.
I have golfed at 100s of courses and this is by far the best course for the money. And the staff (Tia) is just wonderful!!!

I am an 80 year old golfer with an 18.6 thin index.
I am an 80 year old golfer with an 18.6 thin index. I played the white tees and should have played the blue tees. The course plays very long with lots of extreme uphill shots to the greens.
Greens were excellent. Heavy earlier rains had left some casual water, but overall the course was in good condition.
Nice course, fast pace of play
First time playing the dunes. Fast greens, challenging layout. I was a single and was able to play 18 in about 4 hours. Staff is friendly, and so are the other golfers. I’ll def be coming back!

What’s great course every hole has great layout and challenging green complexes.
Very fun track
Had a great time. First time playing this course. Great layout, some really fun holes. Conditions were great, with the exception of the traps, which are basically clay. But I know how to play out of clay traps so it was not big deal. Tees, fairways, and greens are fantastic!! Will definitely play here again.
