Designed by Robin Nelson, The Dunes at Maui Lani is immaculately maintained and brilliantly laid out. It is a tribute to the great links courses of Ireland that more than one golf writer has described as a "British Open course on Maui." Stunning dunes dot the terrain at every corner, challenging the golfer at every hole.

In addition to 18 holes of championship golf, The Dunes offers the only lighted practice range in central Maui, with grass tees, fairway and green-side bunkers and a pitching and putting green, plus an air-conditioned pavilion. Also, when not on the golf course, golfers can enjoy a four-star meal at Cafe O'Lei at The Dunes.

Dunes, great name!!

Didn’t know why they would call it the dunes until we started to get to the 3rd hole. At that point we realized the rolling green terrain with the camouflaged water hazards makes it a place where you need to play twice to truest get it. I wished they had a map book as it was a little hard to navigate around.

Nonetheless, the paspalum greens were super tight and true. Great fairways and the tee boxes were average. Liked it a lot. If it gets windy it can play really hard!

Good if you’re looking for a place that you want get some rust off your r game and a good place to warm up on before playing Kapalua Plantation or the Dunes course.

Great course with beautiful greens.

The Only flaw was the sand traps. Raked level , but hard as heck. Just need to be fluffed up a bit. Will definitely play again. Worth the money!
