Alyth Golf Club

Course well looked after, unfortunately it was very wet under foot when we played due to heavy rain the day before. Enjoyed our game golf.

This course may be a bit off the beating track but is well worth the travel! Stunning setting to play golf and has a very exclusive feel, but not in a snobby way. Lovely layout and some cracking individual holes both short and long. Can be a forgiving course should you miss in the right areas and there are plenty of chances for birdie to be had should you hit the ball well. Greens are small but have nice contours which makes for exciting moments should the putter do as is expected!

A must play for any keen golfer of any ability who loves a bit of parkland heaven! Only criticism is there isn't enough par 5s for my liking.

Played myself, first to tee of at 7.48am. Pro was friendly enough gave me a score and a course map. The course was great. Very well laid out. A little on the short side but very enjoyable. It was a damp morning and there has been a lot of rain recently but there was no water logged areas on the course and the greens were in very good condition. It appears to be a thriving golf club and I full understand why. Go and play it, see for yourself.

An excellent well laid out course with a good variety of holes in a quiet scenic location.

The course and greens were in excellent condition where accuracy is more of a premium than length.

Would play more frequently if I lived closer. An excellent hidden gem that will challenge even the most discerning golfer.

I look forward to playing again in the near future.

The complete golfing package! Fantastic facilities, friendly & informative club pro & the course itself was exceptional! Wouldn’t hesitate to play again as the condition and layout of this course guaranteed variety and complete enjoyment. Slight disappointment was green condition but would attribute this to a wet early summer.

EXCELLENT COURSE.

We played Alyth on the first day of a weeks stay in the area. The pro was very helpful in sorting out a buggy for 2 of our party & very informative about other courses in the area. If you are slightly off with your shots here you can still find your ball & when you get to the greens they are fast & slopy so can easily 3-putt. A great game rounded off with a pint in the clubhouse where the staff were welcoming made the perfect start to our week.We enjoyed it so much that we returned on our last day, partaking of a hearty breakfast, a practice on the range & another great game. It was a bit breezy & we had to wait a few times but didn’t spoil our day. Well done Alyth G C.

Well looked after course with hardly a blade of grass out of place. A course that if u play well u can score on but also play badly and u could run up a score

Played the course on a warm sunny day after it was closed for two days with snow. More or less full tees and 16 summer greens. Course was in excellent condition. Unfortunately no food was available at 2.15 which spoilt a day out.

Played here on Wednesday 6th March. Very friendly welcome in the pro shop explained about facilities etc some clubs could learn from this how to treat and greet visitors. Matts were in use on the fairway but that wasn’t a problem, 4 winter greens on due to heavy rain overnight again not a problem at all. Really enjoyed the round on a great course will definitely return again in the summer. Highly recommended

The course, especially the greens, in excellent condition. Very busy for a Tuesday morning so took 4 hours for our round. Great food in the clubhouse before and after our game.

Had heard for many years how good Alyth golf course was so always wanted to play it.

The weather wasn't very kind to us but it didn't spoil our experience.

The course was in fantastic condition and really is one of the best we've ever played.

Not to long and easy to walk round.

10 out of 10.

We will definitely return next year.

Lovely setting. Not a long course but good challenges with quite a few blind shots. Tricky greens with subtle borrows. Very enjoyable round and would recommend the course. Will play it again.

Course was great, friendly bar staff and pro shop full of well priced 1St class equipment.

Course in good condition,felt that there was not enough variety with the holes though .

My second time playing this coarse in a week great all round coarse even after a night of rain the coarse was in great condition. Very friendly staff in pro shop and in the club house food was excellent will definitely be back
