The event has become such an attraction that the Piperdam Osprey Centre, an observation facility for visitors, was built. The course has a parkland style layout with water hazards and out-of-bounds stakes. Great selection of different holes
First time playing it and will definitely be back, fantastic value for money, read some reviews about it was in poor condition before we went on Facebook but we certainly didn't find that, greens I suppose could have been a little faster but certainly didn't effect our game or our day out
Thoroughly enjoyed my round
The staff were very helpful and friendly both in the pro shop and the restaurant. I had a lovely and relaxed afternoon’s golf rounded off with a lovely meal.
Perfect!
Pleasant round
Picked up a late deal when Dumbarnie was closed at short notice. A very good experience - good mix of holes, course in good condition for early May and staff in Pro shop very friendly.
Only about 10 people on course all afternoon - deserves to be busier.
Definitely be back
As titled definitely be back, fairways considering time of year in really good condition, winter greens at the moment making some of the holes perhaps a little too short, however given it is January and the fees are reasonable then it’s not a bad shout for a relatively easy stretch of the legs - look forward to playing again in the summer months on full greens.
Wet but enjoyable
Very nice course. Despite the heavy rain in the days prior to playing, it remained still very playable. Course maintained in good condition..
Good day out
Course starts with a lovely par 3 over the Loch.
The course its self was in a fine condition, however the tee boxes need some serious tlc.
Overall course was great.
Very Very Slow!!!
Played this course numerous times but I never experienced this before, normally you can complete this course in 3 hours but yesterday it took 3.5 hours just for 12 holes so unfortunately we walked off. Every hole we met the group ahead and the 2 groups behind us.
The pro was out and attempted to speed play up but this was ignored by the 3 groups of 4 balls who were very slow and not allowing myself who was in a 2 ball to play through.
The tee areas on every hole were unfortunately in very bad condition also .
Fairways and tees bit patchy and generally the course just needs some care as bit untidy
Winter Greens
I was not aware that the first hole was unplayable and that we were playing on winter greens. Until l had paid and this information was passed over to me at the reception, just before I was due to tea off.
Value
Had a great day playing a superb course great layout, in great condition for time of year , would totally recommend
