Two points

Fairways had been cut but grass not gathered and lying in fairways.

Greens were excellent. Never seen them better. Well done to greens staff.

Cheap & cheerful / not well kept

Had a good day, staff friendly, clubhouse is purely a changing room though, it was quite rough the windows either painted on or boarded up. The pace was good and course has a lot of potential but it was very spongy and wet / swamp like and the grass was either uncut or not picked up from being cut. A lot of lost balls as physically unable to find due to course conditions even on the fairway it was difficult to find. It was £15 per head for 18 holes so can’t complain about tht but a lot of people walking on for free. Also noisy at one point there were people actually cycling along the course shouting in front of us driving as next to caravan site, not ideal when hitting shots. People also just walk on in front of us who had not paid, not ideal but still managed to make it a good day - also its not called littlehill for no reason we were shattered walking up hills all day. If the course was in better condition and people werent walking on at random holes and leaving rubbish etc there wouldnt be much complaints.

Nice course, shame about fairways

Course is set in beautiful area, very straight and wide

Only issue was fairways are in need of sweeping to remove un-replaced divots.

But in saying that holes are spectacular, will go back again

A Challenge for Ladies

It's nice course but challenging for ladies as no red tees. Having to play from the yellow tees with long par 4s doesn't help. Glad it wasn't for handicap but overall a good afternoon of golf

Great course, to many skipping on

I played this course today, honestly great little course however the pace of play was shocking i put that down to the main factor of alot of people just skipping on and playing, in front of me i had a team of about 6 young teens with bikes playing most likely not paying to play. Shocking pace of play that i gave up on the 10th green. I would recommend playing this during the week.

Littlehill Golf Course

At present this is the best condition the course has been in for many years. Admittedly, there is still some work required to bring the course and onsite facilities back to its former glory.

One immediate areas that could be improved at very little cost is longer flag sticks, particularly at approaching holes with blind shots. Other aspects that should be addressed in the short term is the repairing of teeing areas and areas of disease which is evident on some greens.

In the medium to longer term consideration should be given to improving on-site facilities such as a cafe, which could also be marketed and used by non-golfers and act as a pillar for the local community.

A lot of excellent work has already been carried out and Glasgow Life and the resident members should be commended for their efforts. The green staff have also made massive improvements with limited resources.

Steady course

In reply to some poor reviews thought this council course was in good condition. Tidy and good greens. No issues.

Tough course with lots of sloping hills. A challenge at times but on a nice sunny day it played well. Nice views of the campsies

Played this course 40years

40 years hasn’t changed this course it’s a bit of a let down if the council would invest in facilities for peoples health and wellbeing it could be a little gem but unfortunately they haven’t, spend an extra fiver or tenner and play somewhere in the vicinity.
