Great course.

Great golf course with a great history behind it. Great to see it packed on a Saturday. Some greens are currently being looked after with the summer in mind I feel but the old course is looking great still. Some greens need looked after but what can green staff do when the council want little to do as possible with this golf course. It’s a beautifully laid out course and no hole is easy!

Best I have seen it

Having grown up in the area and played the course a load of times over the years, I can say I was delighted with the condition of the course last week. I would go as far as to say it is as good as I can remember it ever being.

Fairways in great shape and greens as good as you could expect in a municipal course.

Will definitely be back soon for another trip down memory lane ... please keep this course open

An old course with a little charm

I really enjoyed playing this course, a good variety of holes requiring some good drives and some well placed shots. Fairways in excellent condition and greens very good also makes for a great round of golf. The fact I got on it for a song was an added bonus, really really enjoyable

Great value for money

The course was in good condition except for the greens which were a bit dry in places.Course is a bit rough and ready in places due to proximity io Glasgow housing scheme but a good course layout and great value makes it worth a visit
