Absolute bargain.

Pleasantly surprised how good a course Lochwinnoch Golf Club is. The course was in fantastic condition. Greens ran true. Not for the faint hearted though as after the Par 3 8th. It's hard going if your walking. Really enjoyed it though and will be back the the Open next year. 👌

Lush Lochwinnoch

Booked through GN for a bargain price and it was worth every penny. The course was in beauitiful condition with lush green fairways and amazing greens. The course played long for me, although I have only just started playing and do not hit it that far, but it did not stop me. A number of holes where you play across other fairways which was fun and intersting. Is on the hilly side though (is a warning sign during the round about it) so be prepared. Some really great holes and one not to be missed. May be one of the best value course about.

Lochwinnoch golf club

Beautiful course with cracking views over Lochwinnoch lots of quirky difficult holes bit of a climb from the 8th till the 16th but very enjoyable

Played on a Sunday the pro shop was closed but one of the local members help me out with a score card

I would definitely recommend this course but to be aware of the climb from the 8th

Enjoyable round

Very good course a good variety of different types of holes wee bit hilly in parts but only struggled on two of the holes would recommend a cart or a trolley at least if you’re unfit apart from that no complaints very well looked after course, good greens and got it for a great price would recommend

Long and tricky

Can't say too much about the course. Due to worsening weather and inappropriate clothes we gave up at the ninth. But I'll comment on what we saw. The first nine holes were a challenge because of the weather conditions, even my low handicap partner found it challenging. The wind direction made play interesting . In saying that will try to play again on a better day

The course is in great condition, the greens were receptive and ran true. Saw very few staff but were very helpful. There's no bar service on certain days at the moment so as well to check if that's important to you . Definitely need a sat nav to get there!

Lochwinnoch 👍

Great course , well maintained and challenging holes. On the downside, no golf ball washers and bar closed apart from Fri and Sat …..

Played the course many years ago.Course was in great condition. Greens not the best I've seen them but ok to putt on.Like many clubs,it was sad to see the clubhouse closed during our visit.People and staff were always friendly and welcoming here.,back in the day.The course is hilly, with a few climbs so a trolley is recommended.A good days golf for a decent price.

Lovely course

Hired a buggy because I’d heard it was very hilly. Wasn’t as bad as described by people. Thought £30 was a bit steep for the hire. Robert in the shop was super friendly and accommodating. Tee-boxes were very, very dry due to 2 weeks of sun. Literally struggled getting tee’s in ground. They could’ve done with a bit of moistening from ground staff. That said, the greens were perfect as well as the rest of the course. Picturesque course and well laid out. Good wide fairways for any poor drives. I would recommend giving it a try.

Great little course

Fantastic course, very well looked after. Some great views and some cheeky holes. A couple of par 3’s that are screaming great chances for a hole in one.

Cracking course

1st time playing and it didn’t disappoint! Stunning course with some challenging holes. This is a very hilly course and not for the unfit golfer. Beautiful views. Greens were well moistened even after 2 weeks of no rain. Big mention to Robert who was probably the friendliest I’ve experienced as a non member at any course.

Walked

hilly!

played on a Monday in May. Course very quiet and in lovely condition. Greens are small but nice and smooth. Course is on a hill so no flat lies. Quite exhausting going up and down many times. Clubhouse was closed so no after round hospitality unfortunately.
