Caldwell Golf Club

My 4 ball all enjoyed Caldwell Golf Club….

A Beautiful sunny day. We had food in the clubhouse pre & post round of golf, very nice & had a great wee day

Thee course was in good condition for the time of year, greens

were very good also. The only thing that Let it down

Was the pace of play, it was absolutely horrendous. We are playing as a 2 ball and when we got to the 4th tee there was a 4 ball in the middle of the fairway who were taking absolutely ages trying to play the hole and then proceeded to play some of the slowest Golf we’ve ever encountered. We were held up for the rest of them round! They clearly didn’t know or understand the etiquette of letting anyone play through! It was shocking! The whole course was backed up behind us. I think the club need to have a word with its members!!

We paid a 4 ball teeing off in the afternoon. The course was in excellent condition and luckily we got the weather. The only slight downside to the day was that we were playing in between a Father and sons Texas Scramble event. This slowed the play quite significantly and we were nearly 5 hours for our round. Can't be helped however still frustrating.

Course in great order, lovely layout and a good challenge , great value for the price

Course is well maintained with good verity of holes. Would recommend.

Always fancied playing this course and I was not disappointed at all. Great lay out and cracking par 3's. The greens where absolutely phenomenal. Met the green keeper on way round which we mentioned how good they where. Pro at shop was extremely helpful. Players we met on way round where very welcoming and the food and hospitality in clubhouse where spot on. Only let down was no hole in one again 😀. maybe one day. Keep up the good work and hopefully be back soon. John mcgregor

Played Caldwell for the first time yesterday and it is a fantastic course. There is a good variety of holes with some elevation change but not too hilly. The main thing that made this round to enjoyable was how immaculate the course was , the fairway, greens and roughs where all in great condition. I would recommend this course to all as an enjoyable not too difficult course.

The course was in great condition. Greens were excellent. Green staff and clubhouse staff were very friendly. Food was great as well. All round a pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend playing especially at those prices.

Staff very friendly. Food great value. Service excellent. Course in great condition. Played with family from Canada and New Zealand. They said great value and enjoyed playing the course.

Really enjoyable round at Caldwell. Course was in great condition and the surrounding countryside is really nice.

I have organised a golf outing for the 4th year in a row at Caldwell.

The course was in great condition. The greens remind me of Augusta with their slopes and pace especially those downhill ones 😱.

Excellent food afterwards, the fish & chips and caramel apple betty just hit the spot. Followed by some cool 🍻.

VA very relaxed atmosphere in the clubhouse and pro shop where you are always made to feel welcome.

We have next year booked already 🌟
