hilly!

played on a Monday in May. Course very quiet and in lovely condition. Greens are small but nice and smooth. Course is on a hill so no flat lies. Quite exhausting going up and down many times. Clubhouse was closed so no after round hospitality unfortunately.

Hilly but worth it

We arrived at the course and the fella in the pro shop could not have been more helpful. The course was in fine fettle considering it was early May. Quite hilly, but a trolley should negate this. Good selection of holes, quite a few blind tee shots. All things considered it was a enjoyable experience and would recommend this course without hesitation.

Excellent

Excellent round of golf with friends, played the course many years ago and it is still in great condition as it was then. It is hilly but a great test of golf,

Really nice course but expect sore legs

First time playing the course and it was in very good condition. Greens on the smaller side so presents a challenge, and the hills really took their toll on the legs for me anyway. Definitely recommend but not for the unfit.

Played here for the first time and it won’t be my last. Lovely golf course, well maintained and beautifully presented. Would definitely recommend this if you want a real challenge on the course. Minor issue, only found one ball washer on the course.

Lovely course.

I played here today and it's early in the season. Bar closed but was able to speak with a lady and she gave me a scorecard..

The first is a nice par 4, the second is a par 5 slightly downhill.

After that the course climbs steeply. This is a physically demanding course. A lot of climbs on these old knees!

Course was in good condition albeit very wet underfoot. Greens ran well, but attention needed to the bunkers which hadn't been raked but maybe the rain impacted on this.

Signature hole the 17th par 5 downhill.

Made a nice par there.

I was concerned over the amount of divots that hadn't been replaced. Players need to pay attention to this

Overall for £17 very good value. Some beautiful views.

personal preference

course is great conditions are great greens are getting there for the time of year so it may seem strange that i did not enjoy the round even with an eagle 2 on a par 4 i just felt the hills on the course are not for me the pace of play was excellent hats off to the 3 groups who invited us to play through as i said in the heading its all about preference and its only my opinion yours may be its great and you love it

Main Club house was closed when i arrived but was directed to the rear of the building after speaking to an elderly gentleman that lived adjacent to the Club house.

Explained to the Young Girl in the office my T-Off time and All questions were answered and was given a score card.

Lovely sunny day & course wasn't busy. Fairways were immaculate & greens were what you would aspect at this time of year.

Challenging course and quite hilly between holes 9 & 14, but overall a Great course to play.

Will definitely visit again.

Fantastic course!

First time playing here and very impressed.

Arrived early for our 9.50 tee off time.

Members who were there were very friendly and accommodating for my playing partner and myself by letting us go out before then as they were a 3 ball. Course was easy to follow, well set up and it is also very hilly but don't let that deter you from playing here!

We were lucky with the weather and had some great views from the higher parts of the course.

For still being winter conditios, the course played really well! Can see this course being immaculate over the summer months!

Other members on the course were happy to let us play through which made our round even more enjoyable at not being held up at every tee.

Didn't pop in to the clubhouse after our round unfortunately but going with how nice the members were we spoke to, can safely say it would have been very welcoming if we had went in for a refreshment.

Highly recommend this course! Great mix of long, medium and short holes, plenty of scoring opportunities, adequate space for any off line tee shots and some lovely views to boot. Get it booked for your next round!

Great but no staff on at the weekend

Was a terrific course to play but there was no staff on that day, and we found out from other players on the course that we were meant to be playing off fairway mats, wasn't made clear when we booked so had to play all fairway shots from the rough.

Would have been nice to know that.

Lovely course with beautiful scenery, but hilly. The greens were in excellent condition considering the time of year. Nets need some TLC, but are functional. The clubhouse and pro shop were closed.
