Good choice for summer golf
St. Germain is a nice, challenging Northwoods course. This course requires accuracy off the tea. Distance is not too bad so approachable for golfers of all abilities. When playing early in the season people shouldn’t expect much from the conditions given the harshness of the winters.

Have had better conditions here
St Germain offers a great Northern Wi golf experience. Wooded and scenic with some nice elevation changes and sight line views. The greens had been sanded and the turf was in below average condition from previous laps I've made around this track. Perhaps the weather in this area had not been cooperating. Putting was at best a guessing game as to what was going to happen next. Fairways were in good condition. Value/golf experience was a disappointment compared to previous rounds here. Staff/Starter/Ranger super nice !! May try back later in the season.

Wrong time to play
Due to swarms of deer flies we cut our round short.
Even after spraying repellent, my wife had literally hundreds of biting deer flies buzzing and biting her.
I wish the course would have warned players of this.
I realize nature is out of their control.
