Slow play by threesome
A LOT of BALL MARKS on several greens, reason for course and overall "good" rating. Does Rancho have a Marshall program? It would have been nice 2025JAN05. Threesome in front of us by 2 holes, had a foursome directly in front of us, the 3some had 3 open hole in front of them. Our twosome passed the 3some on the 12th hole and we finished in 4 hours. Not too bad but didn't play the 12th. Sand traps are getting much better and looked like players are taking better care of them. Do you still have cart personnel? Asking for a friend.
Diamond in the Desert
Antelope Valley is the home of two courses. Rancho is by far the best of the two. This is a fun course that is both challenging and fair. I would recommend they have a cart girl for those of us that would enjoy a drink or snack.
Super Fun Course
I’ve played this course many times. I specifically like the layout as it plays fair. Some holes are a little challenging than others, but that’s what makes it a fun game. The greens are always perfect. The play was really slow today. I’m normally on and off in less than four hours. Today took six. Probably due to the increase of new golfers. But hey, we all started one day. Highly recommend!
Oh by the way, a cart girl would be great. I was hungry and thirsty throughout the game. Maybe even a way to call in an order between front and back holes.
Solid local course in decent winter shape.
Not too tough if the wind isn’t blowing, it was howling the day I played. Greens were fantastic
Smooth as can be and lightning fast.
Fun locals course in good winter shape. Not too hard not too easy. Place was packed and we waited on most shots and still played in 4 hrs on a Saturday
Greens were absolutely immaculate and lightning fast, no tap in comebackers.
Great place of play and conditions. Will definitely return in the future!
Nice golf course but slow pace of play.
The course and staff are great. The pace of play needs to be monitored by the marshal or staff.
We teed off at noon and wasn’t able to finish the last two holes. We will not be going coming back.
Nice course but not a great value
Lovely course and nice staff, but greens had been recently aerated and were bumpy and slow. Also a fair amount of mushy soil. No gps on carts. No on course food/drink cart service (on a Sunday.). Not worth $85.
