Great course some challenging spots overall great course to play

Due to the fantastic condition of the course, friendly staff, enjoyable company and how well I played, this was the best round of the year so far. It didn't hurt that I used a Golfnow monthly rewards so the price was right. Even had I payed rack rate it would have been worth it.

Once again the GCOH was in top shape during our Thursday P.M. round. The pace of play was excellent. The course was in fabulous shape, and the greens putted true and quick. I only wish people would fix ball marks on the greens! Only complaint with course was that the tees were all moved around. The blues were moved up on many holes and moved back toward the tips on the long par fours.(three of them at 440 yds).

Played where the Pro's play. Course was in fantastic condition and greens rolled true. Great test as each hole presents a different challenge and you are made to think with each shot. Bunkers were in great condition as compared to other courses in town. Would gladly go back and play it again.

If you go out to Golf Club of Houston request Melvin as your caddy. He’s the man and an expert at reading the greens!

Great course!

Pace of play was awesome. Marshal let me start on the back alone. Went through the 18 holes in 3.5 hours. Shot 79 from the tournament tees! Haven't played here since 2016. It's not the carpet fairway and green conditions I remember but well maintained overall. A bit pricey to be a regular here but worth the hot deal.

I really enjoyed playing at the Golf Club of Houston. It’s well worth the price and the course was in great shape! Beware of the raccoons and crows,they will snatch your snack out of your cart LOL.

I have volunteered at The Golf Club of Houston for the Shell tournament for many years . The Course I believe is the Best in Houston . The course is Scenic with perfect fairways ,bunkers , and greens . Having said that about the course sadly I was disappointed with the customer service . On the 6th hole our cart stopped working . I immediately called the club house . Ten minutes pass no replacement . I call again . 20 minutes pass no replacement. I continue calling the club house and the lady answering seemed confused as to weather someone is coming or not . Finally after calling 5 times and waiting 45 minutes watching group after group pass us we received a new cart . From a customer service perspective from a course that charges what this course does they need to be better . I will be back because the course is Amazing but a great course with poor service will lose business over time . Hopefully it was just an exception to how things normally work . Thanks Will Mattern

It is a great course and a fair fun challenge. Signature hole 18th is every bit as hard as it looked on TV. For the money, aim for a twilight round if you are not a low handicapper that can handle the demands of tactical tee shots. .

A bit wet after massive rain on Saturday night. Course is great and greens fantastic. Pace of play today was not good.

I do not recommend this Course neither Golf Now ...It Rained after a few holes and neither the Golf Club nor GolfNow wanted to give me a refund nor a raincheck. The Staff at the golf club was even worse.

ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT RECOMNEND

Greens are true and fast in perfect condition.

5 hour play was a little slow.

Staff brought cart to parking lot and loaded bags for us, check in was easy and range was perfect shape. The many sand bunkers strategically placed kept us on our toes. Pace of play was great (18holes-3hr 10min.). The greens were in really good shape.
