Shorecliffs Golf Club

I have played there many times before the sale of the driving range and the course was, excuse me for saying so, a goat ranch, not good. I have now played there many times during the construction of the new clubhouse and remodeling of the course. It is now almost complete and I will be sad when its done because word will get out it is a good track with great greens and is in great condition. If you have not played there in a while try it out and you will be amazed.

New course layout and clubhouse due to open soon!!! Course is great, staff is great and once the new club house opens…19th hole looks like it could be great as well….4 brothers are coming in to visit from the Midwest in July and I am definitely taking them to Shore Cliffs for a round of golf!!!

geens are the highlight rolling well at medium fast to fast. fairways are mostly good a little thin in places but overall good lies.

Decent course and under upgrades but still needs some”attention to detail” to make it a really nice course. Great location and good price. Just waiting for the course to be complete

Course was wet from recent rains and started raining as we putted on the 18th. The course is coming along. Clubhouse is looking good! Still have not opened the new hole. Would recommend the course for the value...players need to understand course and facilities are under construction. Course needs to put in a bathroom on the back 9...only a portable right now and it's really gross.

I booked a tee time on golf now with Shorecliffs and woke up fairly early to get there on time, since I live about an hour away.

It wasn’t even open. No one even called me to let me know they would be closed… and there were no emails or signs or anything that would otherwise tell me ahead of time that they would be closed.

with lots of temporary tee boxes and greens. Hole 8 closed. No pro shop or restaurant/bar. Just temp trailers, construction equipment and limited parking. Should be much better in 6-12 months, Can I get discount or refund or redo in 2023?

There is a reason this place is still always wide open, it’s not a even a golf course. This place is under so much construction, it almost feels like it shouldn’t be open. There isnt a club house or even a basic putting green. If you’re trying to lose 4 sleeves of balls and over pay $40 for $30 course, this your spot.

Your prices are way to high. Arroyo trabuco you can get out for 70$ And Sam Clemente municipal you can get out for 40-60$ and the course is 100% times better. I’m sorry you should only be charging 40$ no more.

We have not played this course for while. Surprised found so many construction on parking lot, hard to locates entrance. Course layout is very unique nice, and fairway kind of narrow. We had great time , finished 180 holes less than 4.5 hours on weekend. If there are more clear marks on Some holes it will be much help.

We will be back for sure.

Having played there a handful of times, it used to be a place for anyone looking for “cheap” golf (and you got what you payed for). The good news is they sold the range land for a seniors development and in return will have a great looking new clubhouse (almost complete), a new fleet of carts coming, back to the original course layout and numerous improvements throughout. If they don’t decide to “jack” the green fees (like every place else), it will be the best value in south OC. Thanks to Golf Now for the great Hot Deal rate!

While this course is not really highly rated by me it's because they are in the final stages of a major renovation and improvement of the facilities. I've played here over the years, and it's always been an ok venue but within the next 6 months it will be a great facility. They are in the process of building a new very nice clubhouse with great outdoor amenities, the routing of the course is being changed, and they are improving a couple of the holes. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and I look forward to playing a lot in the future.

The course looks better each time we come. Looking forward to the opening of the clubhouse! Very good value...fairways is a little soggy still...hoping they solve the drainage issues!
