Shorecliffs Golf Club

There are a few holes that are still under repair, and there are 3 holes that I hate. Besides that, the greens and fairways are in good shape.

We play this course once a week. The last 4 or 5 times the pace has slowed way down on the back 9 for some reason. It gets backed up and you wait on most every hole. Not sure why.

Thank goodness we were paired with a couple of regulars because It’s not easy to follow the course direction from hole to hole. It has narrow fairways with little creek hazards on a few holes. The weather was nice and cool. The affordable cost to play was a plus

- called ahead of time to ask if the holes were repaired. Told everything was repaired.

- holes were not repaired and we were sent on a wild goose chase finding several temporary holes.

Greens were slow.

- we will never return. Too bad because it used to be nice course and reasonably priced

After they punched and sanded the green a couple weeks ago they are filling in beautifully.

Pretty rough around the edges.

Grass over all was in need of so work.

Greens were bumpy & slow

This remains a gem of a course. Well managed, great greens and a challenging layout (even with 2 holes squished back into the other 16). We never have a bad time here and will be back Lester in the week!

Pace slowed so badly on the back 9 we stopped play after 13 and drove to the club house. A group of 4 was playing on 17 and had everything backed up terribly. We played hole 18 and that group of 4 that was chipping onto the 17th green when we went by was not teeing off on 18 until we were finishing our last put. Last 3 or 4times we played it’s been backed up on the back 9. Greens course are in great shape. Should have someone moving things along.

Pace slowed way down on back 9, not sure why. Course and greens in great shape. Tasty sandwich from the club house.

Very friendly for myself and guys that don't play a lot.

Beautiful day to play. Paired with 2 great guys who had played the course before. Greens were excellent, fairways were not in the best of shape. Friendly staff and great sandwiches at the turn.

The round started great. We let a threesome play through early because they were hitting into us. When we hit the turn, we let a single play through. Two ladies came through the tunnel and accused us of jumping from 18 to 10. When we explained that we let the single play through, they didn’t believe us and called the Marshall. He asked us what happened and instead of explaining it to them, he just said, “I only came out because they called. Enjoy the rest of your round.” After the round they complained again.

The guy at the pro shop didn’t say anything. He just listened and smiled.

Nice course. Some challenging holes and fairly narrow fairways. Cause is a good value for the money. I would recommend it.

This is our home course and we have been playing Shorecliffs at least once per week for over twenty years.
