About
Bartow Golf Course is a municipal course that offers an affordable yet challenging round. The course has a classic design with an interesting mix of holes that range from being wide open to narrow and tree lined. The postage-stamp-sized greens demand accuracy and there are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. Build up your score on the front nine before tackling the tougher back nine. The golf course has enough challenges to keep more advanced players satisfied but it's forgiving enough to appeal to beginners as well. One of the most memorable holes is the par-3 13th. There is a tree that stands right in the middle of the fairway, forcing you to either go over or try to get around and risk going in the sand trap.

Not really my favorite course.
Considering the time of year and traffic on the course, it is in pretty good shape. All.employees are pleasant and equipment in satisfactory condition. To be quiet frank, I do not care for the built up, domed greens. Better courses do not have this type green on every hole. No doubt I will probably play more golf there anyway.
Greens were the best we have seen in this area
Exceptional value for your money. Greens and fairways are in great shape. Pin placements made the course that much more difficult. Enjoyed playing here and will be back soon.
Slow play
The corse is in fair condition considering all the play it gets. Unfortunately the play is at a snells pace. I see a lot of five and sixums wich slows the pace as well. I think the ranger could do a better job. Oh wait, I didnt see a Ranger.
Good Value
We booked an 8:30 tee time and got off right away. The course was in good shape and we got around in 3 hours. We got an excellent rate through GolfNow and look forward to playing the course again.
Great Course
Very Friendly Course...wide fairways...the 10th is a challenge I will golf here whenever I get the chance
Green & Tees
Could not spray your ball from the tee, opposite fairway very close possible you might hit some one, Some greens were only about 20 paces apart, putting can be a danger of a miss hit golf ball.
Small greens with undulations, very challenging.
Friendly staff
Very crowded but once we passed the third hole never waited again. It's a golf course and I love golf, but it would not be in my top ten courses. Had a good time as I always do at golf.
Not a Fancy Club-but good value
Front nine had small elevated greens. Back nine had larger greens and some water hazards. Many greens well protected by deep bunkers. Also, there were a few hidden bunkers along fairways. Course was not over seeded and dormant Bermuda greens were pretty fast.
Course was over crowded with too many slow groups. They could use a ranger to keep them moving.
Lots of wildlife on course. Highlight was a large group of wild turkeys.
Ate lunch in Mulligans restaurant which had good food.

small greens....but quick.....lined with old tree's......some trouble....but mostly straight up and down......fairways good...really no ruff
Bartow Course
This course was in decent shape. The pace of play was a little slow to start with but got better later in the round. The staff were helpful and friendly. My partner and I enjoyed playing this course and will play there again.
Fun course
Enjoyed a rather fast play for a foursome. Good course for the money

The course was in good condition, the staff was somewhat friendly, but we finished around 2:30 and the restaurant was closed

Good course but need to watch five player groups
Overall pleased with course however pace of play slow as two groups of five players in front of us held up.
Oh Ranger
Needs a ranger no less than 4 groups/players just decided to change holes in front or behind us. Needs a ranger.
Best course in the area for the money
Myself and my son and grandsons play this course frequently. I am new to golf and the people there are very helpful answering my questions and serving my needs. Just wish I had taken this up a few years earlier.

Nice course for the money. Donald Ross design with a few changes. Nice relaxed setting in Bartow.
Bang for the buck
I love the course, pace is always good, especially in afternoon, and it's in pretty good shape w/ some challenging holes and nice yardages. Can't find a better price!!
