Played south course and west course

South course was excellent design

Not impressed with west course as had couple holes with 90 degree dog legs required 300 yd drive in order to be able to see the green…also par 34

We were supposed to play east course

Conditions of fairways reasonable for Florida I guess

Greens were running true

Bunkers ok but they could buy decent rakes

Overall

It is a challenging course which was enjoyable

Price is a bit steep though

60$ was not worth the money for the rental eqipment

Nice course nice pro shop pool bar area nice great club sandwich starters nice persons great group of guys to play with would play again

I originally wrote that my experience at Boca Lago on November 11 was challenging. Mr ASHFORD, head golf pro called me and he was extremely helpful and we reconciled the challenge. I was told by Golf Now that I cannot delete my first review about my experience at Boca Lago on November 11 but I can assure you that they care about their customers and they will work with you and your challenges/problems. I have played at Boca Lago several times and I have always had an excellent experience. The one outing that was less than excellent Mr ASHFORD was very responsive and professional and helpful. It’s a great course and Tammy in the pro shop and Mr ASHFORD have been great to work with. I highly recommend this beautiful well kept course and the overall golf experience at Boca Lago in Boca Raton Florida.

Nice greens, tee boxes and greens, parts of the rough and fairways could use a little tlc, some bare spots but not bad. I enjoyed my round.

I would like to start this review by saving we placed this course several times this summer and everyone was very professional and friendly.

Unfortunately, on Friday, November 11 at 1:14pm it was a terrible unacceptable experience.

On Friday November 11th we arrived on time with golf now reservations and paid for the two of us to play in the pro shop . When we went to the starters they said he didn’t have us on the list. We showed him the receipt from the pro shop and our golf now receipt. They said they didn’t care about any of it because we were not on the list at the starter table. We went back to the pro shop and they said we were on their list. We went back to the starter table and they got a call from the pro shop and the starters said we were late. This was not true. Not only were we mistreated they lied about us. They placed three (3) foursomes ahead of us because we were not on their sheet. Instead of teeing off at 1:14pm we teed off at 1:45pm. After we teed off se had to wait on every shot and every hole. It was a mess. They overbooked and they treated us as though we didn’t belong and they lied about us being on time. The starters were sarcastic and inappropriate and basically acted like they would only allow us to play after everyone else with later tee time teed off. The starters were terrible and unacceptable.

In closing, not only did we have to wait to hit on every shot and every hole, there were 8 golfers on the green of the last hole. I have a picture of it. Again our experience was terrible and the starters behaviors were unacceptable.

If you have time to make it out to this course, then I suggest you do it. Everything is well maintained and it’s very challenging. Overall excellent course…

Terrible customer service, completely disrespectful to me and the guys I was playing with. We were stuck behind slow players all day as well as the starter actually gave the tee time that we reserved to another set of golfers for reasons they couldn’t explain to me.

We then waited about 20 minutes at the 10th hole and when we finally made it to the green the ranger came by and asked up to go to another side of the course. Keep in mind we had just waited about 20 mins to play and finally were able to enjoy.

The ranger lied and said he would move us to another 9 where it was completely wide open and when we got there were people on the fairway. When asked about why we were being mistreated they had nothing say other than you aren’t members. We were then ignored when we called for the ranger when we experienced slow play.

Would never come back to this facility and would recommend finding another course to visit that might appreciate your business, especially if I am paying $85 a round during the summer.

Good course, greens were very slow. Other then that, it was a nice day. The south course was more fun. The east was ok, lots of doglegs and not to long

Public course with upscale country club vibe. Course was in great condition from t box to green. Wide fairways with plenty of water hazards makes this course a challenge. Real nice experience. Will definitely return.
