About
Boca Greens Country Club is like most Florida golf courses in that it has a rather flat landscape with plenty of water, but it stand out for its scenic views and challenging but player-friendly layout designed by Joe Lee. Water is a prominent presence throughout the course and there are also numerous strategically placed bunkers to contend with, but these difficult elements are nicely balanced by ample room off of the fairways. One of the trickier holes is the par-5 17th, which is almost completely surrounded by water. The layout has a few challenging holes but overall a range of skill levels can play the golf course. There are also five sets of tees to make it even more approachable. Boca Greens C.C. boasts an enjoyable and fair round that is one of the area's best values.

Great layout in need of TLC…
Great layout will make you think, wow what a great course this once was and could be again. Tee boxes for the most part were just ok with some being in poor shape, fairways are deteriorating rapidly and several of the greens are in poor to nearly unplayable condition. Having said that the would I play it again, yes, they are not overcharging the price is more than fair for what you get. The final 4 holes were worth the green fees.

Love this course
This is one of my favorite value courses to play at in this area. The staff is always extremely friendly and that always makes the experience that much more enjoyable. One par 5 is in tough shape and there was one bunker that was flooded despite it being relatively dry the last couple weeks… but this course is worth spending the money at every time.

Hoping for Better
This course was "rough around the edges" (bare spots and inconsistent grass on fairways) when I played it last year, and I was hoping in a year this had been improved. Sadly, I found it to be worse this year. In addition, the green tees were much shorter than stated on the card.

Boca Greens, what a dog track. Dishonest to boot.
Conditions were pretty terrible. Come all the way to Florida and end of having to spend money on a course in such crappy condition. Tee boxes all dirt and worn away. Greens were cut so short I can't see how the grass will survive. Multiple areas of bald spots on greens. Bumpy and poorly managed greens. This place is not worth the time and effort. Reminds me of a poorly run muni course. I don't usually leave bad reviews but this place is worth a warning to avoid spending your money on
Not to mention they are dishonest. I left my rangefinder there in the cart (magnetic) right on the roof support driver's side. The only people that would have access to the cart after me would be the staff. We were one of the last groups of the day and after I gave him a nice tip he took the cart into the garage to park. I called up later that day before they closed and you guessed it, it was never turned in and they couldn't find it on the cart (i knew the number). The unethical staff actually stole my rangefinder and declined to turn it in. Thanks hope you enjoy it but I'd put the extra money you sell it for into your terribly maintained course.

Is it worth the money?
Love the layout, but is it enough? The condition of the course is getting worse. The fairways are lacking grass . You may get some around the greens, but other than that grass is scarce. The green have weeds growing in too many. Not sure if there is a watering system for fairways and tees. On pin placement , many seem to be in the same location as the last time I played. . And many pin placement are located in the front , hardly utilizing the back portion .

Poor fairway and greens
Over all the course is in tough shape, the sand traps have more hard sand than sand. The greens have bare spots and spots of quack grass. I would not recommend this course.

Worst golf carts, horrible greens not taken care of. swamps in the bunkers.

Probably the worst shape I've seen this course in
Played there many times, usually decent shape, cheap fees. But greens were in poor shape, lots of weeds. Fairways same thing.

Amended review
I confused this course with one we played the next day. The pace of play was great. There were some bare spots on the course, but we enjoyed our round with the two gentlemen with whom we were paired

Ok Experience
Course conditions were OK. Some of the greens were top dressed. Many bare spots throughout the course. There were a lot of walkers on the course so pace of play was somewhat slow.

Great course - poor condition
Great course - great layout - poor condition.
Somehow, someway the course lost its ability to be maintained at a level which meets the quality of the course layout.
The clubhouse, snack bar and restrooms are questionable st best.

Best pace of play since we got here . The starter was great and the course layout was good. Course could use some water in the fairways
