Boca Greens Country Club

Having played over 1000 courses around the world, Boca Green had one first.....it charged 50 cents for a cup to put in tap water. Never ever been at any course anywhere that charged for a cup.

It's a shame this extra money isn't put back into the course. While the layout was nice, no definition between fairway and rough, no real grass on the fairways, just mud and mowed weeds over what used to be grass. Sandtraps were well placed, but some had a little sand in them, with an equal amount of rocks, and others had just compacted dirt.

Pace of play was very slow and there were no marshalls out on the course. Our three some quit after 15, as it would have taken at least an hour to play the last 3 holes and we were already past 4 hour round.

The course was mediocre.

They charged us 0.50$ for a cup of ice cubes….

I’ve never saw that and i’ve been playing golf for 40 years….

The layout is excellent. But it could benefit from a lot more TLC! Fairways, tees, and greens all need more care.

Poorly maintained greens with weed all over. TEE boxes and fairways in bad shape.Sand traps need sand.They should put some work into course maintenance, they are so many golfers who want to play and are searching for tee Times they would be fully booked.

Very disappointing…

Great layout will make you think, wow what a great course this once was and could be again. Tee boxes for the most part were just ok with some being in poor shape, fairways are deteriorating rapidly and several of the greens are in poor to nearly unplayable condition. Having said that the would I play it again, yes, they are not overcharging the price is more than fair for what you get. The final 4 holes were worth the green fees.

This is one of my favorite value courses to play at in this area. The staff is always extremely friendly and that always makes the experience that much more enjoyable. One par 5 is in tough shape and there was one bunker that was flooded despite it being relatively dry the last couple weeks… but this course is worth spending the money at every time.

This course was "rough around the edges" (bare spots and inconsistent grass on fairways) when I played it last year, and I was hoping in a year this had been improved. Sadly, I found it to be worse this year. In addition, the green tees were much shorter than stated on the card.

Conditions were pretty terrible. Come all the way to Florida and end of having to spend money on a course in such crappy condition. Tee boxes all dirt and worn away. Greens were cut so short I can't see how the grass will survive. Multiple areas of bald spots on greens. Bumpy and poorly managed greens. This place is not worth the time and effort. Reminds me of a poorly run muni course. I don't usually leave bad reviews but this place is worth a warning to avoid spending your money on

Not to mention they are dishonest. I left my rangefinder there in the cart (magnetic) right on the roof support driver's side. The only people that would have access to the cart after me would be the staff. We were one of the last groups of the day and after I gave him a nice tip he took the cart into the garage to park. I called up later that day before they closed and you guessed it, it was never turned in and they couldn't find it on the cart (i knew the number). The unethical staff actually stole my rangefinder and declined to turn it in. Thanks hope you enjoy it but I'd put the extra money you sell it for into your terribly maintained course.

Love the layout, but is it enough? The condition of the course is getting worse. The fairways are lacking grass . You may get some around the greens, but other than that grass is scarce. The green have weeds growing in too many. Not sure if there is a watering system for fairways and tees. On pin placement , many seem to be in the same location as the last time I played. . And many pin placement are located in the front , hardly utilizing the back portion .

Over all the course is in tough shape, the sand traps have more hard sand than sand. The greens have bare spots and spots of quack grass. I would not recommend this course.

Worst golf carts, horrible greens not taken care of. swamps in the bunkers.

Played there many times, usually decent shape, cheap fees. But greens were in poor shape, lots of weeds. Fairways same thing.

I confused this course with one we played the next day. The pace of play was great. There were some bare spots on the course, but we enjoyed our round with the two gentlemen with whom we were paired

Course conditions were OK. Some of the greens were top dressed. Many bare spots throughout the course. There were a lot of walkers on the course so pace of play was somewhat slow.

Go with friends you enjoy spending time with.
