Very scenic
My wife and I played here on a very windy Memorial Day weekend. Her tee boxes were very often only 10 yards in front of mine. So it played very long for her. Accuracy is a premium skill if you want to score well. Otherwise, bring lots of balls. I am an 8 handicap and lost 2 balls that I’m sure were very near where I was looking for them but off the fairway generally is gone. The first 4-5 holes are long narrow holes with postage stamp greens. The word Hills is appropriate for the name of this course. It’s very scenic and you will need to be good at adjusting your distances for elevation changes. All in all, everyone there was very courteous and helpful and the club house is nice. The price for us to play seemed a bit high for what it is. $150 per person was close to the Bass Pro owned courses. They really need some women’s tee box adjustments but we still had a decent time. Don’t miss the hundreds of goldfish on 17 bridge!
Amazing
Beautiful golf course. Awesome layout. Challenging.
Great and challenging course
Perfect condition, a bit long for me, but I enjoyed it. Great layout and interesting holes.
Great course with beautiful layout.
The course was very quiet so I was able to play quickly. It was also very wet from heavy rain but the cart paths were well placed.
Greens aerated
Greens were aerated and they did not charge less for the round. 160.00 for aerated greens on this course was a little unfair to our group of 6.
Tough course
This course is extremely tough. The tee shots are tight and no forgiveness on approach shots.
The Marshall asked us three times to speed up because we were behind the group in front of us. The group in front of us was part of our group of 15 playing that day. That group was a threesome. The group behind us was two holes back. We finished in 4 hours and 15 minutes on a very difficult course.

Speaking of Pace of Play, and probably more than you need to know, this course was laid out with the first four sets of four holes having a Par 3, a Par 5, and two Par 4s. The Par 3s were paced at 12 minutes, the Par 4s at 15 minutes, and the Par 5 at 18 minutes. So, when you do the math, that's 1 hour per each set of four holes. Add 15 minutes each for 17 and 18, that's 4 1/2 hours. It's OK to play faster, but 4 1/2 is the way it was designed. . . . . . What's important important is your pace while on the course, not necessarily your pace relative to your tee time, so if the marshal keeps a log, and he makes a lap every hour, and he sees that you have taken more than a hour (averaging it out) to play the four holes since he last saw you, he might mention that. Of course, if you are not holding anyone up, or if you are in contact with the group in front of you . . . . .
Challenge you skills at all levels
Set’s up great to the eye, difficult approaches on most holes, built for single digit handicappers.
Overpriced
Cart path only, sloppy, aerated greens, $135 green fees and they still charge $8 for 40 balls on the range, no water on course, no drinks cart…..need I go on…..
Great challenging layout
Course was a little soggy from all the rain. Greens we're plugged and sanded, winter conditions. Can't path only made for a long day. Wish they would have told us, before we played.
Value, challenging
If you want to play the first “high end” course in Branson (formerly Payne Stewart Golf Club) for 1/3 - 1/2 the price of the courses at Cedar (I have not played Payne’s Valley, but I have played all of the other courses there) and still play a well maintained and very challenging layout, this is the course to play! Seriously, a round in the morning and a replay in the afternoon for less than one round at Ozark National!!! and you don’t have to shop with your wife! (my wife says that shopping with me is like hunting with the game warden). Have fun!!!
Challenging layout
It may take a few times to get this coarse figured out. Gotta play the slope. Loved the coarse

Silver 72 6299 yards
Orange 72 5323 yards
The forward tee is almost 1000 yards shorter than the next one back. On some holes it's a whole lot shorter. Running it through my kind, that it is on holes where it really needs to be. On a few holes, it is not much shorter. On some of those it needs to be. Little known, on 9 and 17, there are alternate forward tees further up, to account for hazards.
