South/East at Spanish Wells Country Club

We arrived and Scott at the club drop was fantastic. Told us the 2 respective nines we would be playing. The check in lady was as friendly as it gets. Great people that make sure you have a good time. Practice facility was great. We went off on time. Pace of play was a little slow, but it was Sunday at 9:22am. The course was challenging and fair at the same time. Some unique holes that test your skill along the way.

Very friendly staff. Course and carts in a very good condition. Some holes are challenging because of the water . Will play again.

If you can find this online for under $35 not a bad value. Greens were punched about 2 weeks ago, fairways had some sort of aeration that left linear lines down the length of the fairway which the ball would fall into, not a bug deal but just an honest observation.

This was either my first time, or first time in years playing this course. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Range balls were extra. It is the first aqua range I have been to that only had one green/target. Disappointing. The greens were in good shape and rolling well. Quite a few tees were closed and the tees in place were so short/confusing that I couldn't log a handicap round. There is quite a lot of water in play and a card with a layout would have saved me a ball or two. Should have used my GPS. Overall, it was a very good value and I would definitely play it again if the price remains reasonable.

Played North/East course. North was a little rougher with areas of sparse grass. Lots of doglegs, challenging. Staff was nice but main complaint is the Cabana closed before we made the turn. Had to go to the Pub upstairs which charged $19 for a hotdog and $21 for a bratwurst where they were $8 each in Cabana. Otherwise, the course was decent.

This is a well laid out course with lots of challenges. The condition of the course continues to improve. This round they actually put out cold towels for us golfers-a nice touch.

Could still use gps on the carts. I will be playing it in the future, as it keeps getting better.

Course was great. Definitely would come back when the opportunity arises.

This course has the potential to be a wonderful course. However, there are little things that need to be done to make it so. First, the course is poorly marked for yardage. The golf carts should be equipped with gps. It would help the golfers and speed up play. Second, the outside staff should be more professional. The last time I played, the bag guy was texting when we came in after our round and showed no interest in helping us with our bags. Third, the clubhouse has very little life to it. Don’t know how to change this, but go to other courses and notice the activity in the clubhouse after a round of golf.
