South/North at Spanish Wells Country Club

Made a 3 PM discounted tee time as a single and was finished with 18 holes by 5:40 PM.

The course is in good shape, and the north course is especially nice. Firm greens with a good roll. It’s a decent value relative to some other courses in the price range.

A lot of water here, short holes, and not very forgiving — so hit em straight!

Nice course layout…not terribly long…plenty of tee box options.

Course is overall a good place to play, the course could use some maintenance in spots. The staff is very nice overall a good course for the price to play.

Booked first tee time of the day as a twosome. I didn’t do my homework and noticed when we got there Spanish Wells is a 27 hole course. Thinking it was 18 holes, my 85 year dad and I could enjoy early relaxing and fairly quick round. Front was just that. As we made the turn things slowed to a halt. 3 groups were in front of us waiting. I guess it’s my fault for assuming that we would still be the first group out playing the back. Paying $119 per person if fine with me if I know what to expect. This was unexpected. I feel we didn’t get what was payed for. There are plenty of nicer courses for less. Ibis Landing, $99. The National at Ave Maria $89. And even San Carlos, $89. Any day playing with your dad is a great day…But this seemed Busch League.

Look forward to playing SW again as it presented challenges for me. The 3 nine hole courses ensure variability.

Great opportunities here in SWFL if you can grab this for $35 you can't go wrong

No complaints..if you can grab this for $30..$35 I don't think you can beat it

This was my second time playing this course in as many weeks. The course is managed well. Fairways and Greens in good shape. Signage helpful. Marshall is on top of pace and even kept a group of locals who were unnecessarily complaining about pace from intruding. All in all, this was a fun experience.

My group was vacationing in Cape Coral, and we were looking for a nice course to play. Spanish Wells was a fit the bill perfectly. The fairways and greens were in good shape and the speed of the greens was fast, but not unfair. Plenty of water hazards on the course help to increase the challenge. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we played an additional 9 holes after the first 18. The clubhouse was well appointed, and staff was excellent. I would definitely recommend Spanish Wells GC.

I played with two buddies and a single, who joined us as. The Check-In system and course management was smooth.. The course was busy on a summer Sunday morning. Water stations, bathrooms, snack bar, and snack cart were accessible. Tee boxes were well marked, and in fair condition. It is clear that they keep up with maintenance here. Greens were in good shape and surprisingly fast. Piece of play was slow at first and picked up as we went along. We completed 18 holes in a little over four hours. With only a stop for a bathroom break at the turn. This course has a unique and interesting layout that allows for several different configurations. On this day, we played the south and east courses. It would be fun to go back and play the north and west as well or some other combination.
