About
The 27 holes at Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club sprawl through a landscape of swaying palms, towering pines, and mature live oaks. Located in Bonita Springs, the club offers some of the most scenic holes in southwest Florida. The numerous water features are difficult to ignore, coming into play on almost every one of the club's holes. The holes are played in three 18-hole combinations. The South/North golf course is a challenging but fair layout that features strategically placed bunkers and several doglegs. The club's signature hole is the North nine's second. This scenic par 3 plays to a well protected green that features a bunker on the right, and out-of-bounds to the left. In addition to the three golf courses there is a practice facility with a driving range, pitching and chipping areas, and two large putting greens.

North course not up to par
During winter months this is a safe bet. If you book without having to play the north course even better.
Great to play
Played here last 6 years. Play at least 3 times in 2 weeks we are in Bonita Springs
Challenging course
Liked the course but the day we played it was 35 mph winds all day long. That was not fun. Hard to judge club selection. Wind direction was not consistent. Such is golf
When you have no other choices
Sometimes an average choice is better than no choice
Friendly Staff, Nice Amenities
Exceptionally friendly Staff. John (starter), Phyllis (golf shop), cart attendants and wait staff in pub stood out. Pub food simple but very good. Enjoyed BLT, wings and the house made chips we're excellent. Practice facility ok, hit off mats which was just ok, but not as good as a turf driving range. Course was packed but pace of play was nice finished in 4 hours 30 minutes moving steadily. Course was a fun layout nice difference in teeing areas from senior ladies all the way back to the pro tips. Greens were receptive and moderate speed. Tight driving on some holes otherwise room to spray it around a little bit. A few side-by-side holes might bring another golfer onto your fairway. I thought price was a little bit steep so I only give it an "ok" for value, but we played in peak season so to be expected. Overall a nice experience. Recommended but "value" just fair. Adjust your expectations accordingly.
Less Value
The course was not in the best shape. Greens between the East and North courses were totally different in their condition.
Fairways were dry and the rough was cut unevenly.
The price through Goal Now, pay now was at $107.00 which was over priced for this course.
