South/North at Spanish Wells Country Club

Expensive. 2 holes on each 9 holes we played were ridiculous. East to North. Not an interesting layout.

it is difficult playing golf in the naples area in february, expensive and slow rounds. We had a great time at Spanish Wells and we will be coming back during our vacation. Played in.4 hours, everyone moved quickly, people were friendly. Course was challening, lots of water and some elevated greens. Nice time.

A nice but not great golf experienceThe staff , amenities were all good .

The golf experience was good, however this is not a great course for challenges or attractive grounds.

Still I was happy overall.

For $175, you get:

1. No one greeting you at the bag drop

2. A single water station for 18 holes

3. No garbage cans on the course

4. Basic carts (no GPS, no coolers)

5. Tee boxes that were not well maintained by any standard.

6. Pace of play & tee-time shifting where members get clear preference

I understand, high season in Florida. But for that price and the experience, I cannot recommend this course to anyone.

During winter months this is a safe bet. If you book without having to play the north course even better.

Played here last 6 years. Play at least 3 times in 2 weeks we are in Bonita Springs

Liked the course but the day we played it was 35 mph winds all day long. That was not fun. Hard to judge club selection. Wind direction was not consistent. Such is golf
