About
The 27 holes at Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club sprawl through a landscape of swaying palms, towering pines, and mature live oaks. Located in Bonita Springs, the club offers some of the most scenic holes in southwest Florida. The numerous water features are difficult to ignore, coming into play on almost every one of the club's holes. The holes are played in three 18-hole combinations. The South/North golf course is a challenging but fair layout that features strategically placed bunkers and several doglegs. The club's signature hole is the North nine's second. This scenic par 3 plays to a well protected green that features a bunker on the right, and out-of-bounds to the left. In addition to the three golf courses there is a practice facility with a driving range, pitching and chipping areas, and two large putting greens.

North course layouts
The North couse layout was not impressive. I could not use dla driver off the tee on many holes.
Enjoyable Day of Golf
Friendliest staff all season. Hood value at off season rates. Multiple tee boxes allow enjoyable day with good pace of plsy. Large greens, wider fairways. Adequate, clean facilities. Carts in great shape, quiet. Probably not walkable because of distance between holes. Beautiful setting with adequate vegetation/lakes. No firced carries.. We’ll play again, depending on rates “in season.”

Excellant Greens! Nice speed to them! A pleasure to play! But pace of play a little slow!!

All went well at Spanish Wells but I happened to check my American Express account on line and the Credit Card was charged twice for $61.00 and I on played once.

Fantastic Course
This was the nicest course I played in Bonita Springs so far. Everything was fantastic including Frank who we were paired with.
Being pushed
First time in 35 years of golf we have been told to pick up our balls and move up to the next tee by a rule and RUDE Marshall ! Two of us are 12 handicappers! We were judged on the errors on the first tee and the group behind us pushed us all the way. We played in 3 hours and 30 minutes exactly….not too bad for slow play… For the price we paid, forget it , we won’t be back!
