South/North at Spanish Wells Country Club

I enjoyed playing. The greens were cut short enough to not be really grainy so they put true with out a lot of exaggerated break. Fairways do have a lot of mixed grass and weeds and they were not mown down when I played but I guess that could be expected at a cheaper rate course. It honestly does mess with me on a par 3 when the box has fluff almost as tall as rough. I had fun though! South course is really short but made for a perfect warm up 9.

Learned at check in, 15yr Olds and under play free with paid adult. Well worth it

Upon arrival the two gentlemen at bag drop were unpleasant and did not offer any bag help. Then while on the course, we needed to use the restroom and found a keypad lock. Called the pro shop 3x, finally answered and lady said very rudely, ‘You will have to hold’ Once we were able to ask for the bathroom code, she said it’s 1***. Like as in the course holes and par. Like one was just to assume that was the code.

When waiting to tee off with the Marshal, one of our foursome said she was trying to get her shirt* together (being funny) and the Marshal said, ‘You are going to talk like that in front of your daughter?’ (Our 10 year old daughter was playing in our foursome) His vocal judgment was completely inappropriate.

The only friendly staff in our entire experience was the lady at the snack bar. She was 5 star friendly and helpful.

We were so extremely disappointed with our experience, as we had seriously considered membership at this club.

Our first time playing this course. Staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the standard of the course was below par, particularly the South course. Quality of grass on the fairways and greens was poor. The East course was better.

Greens were good , Fairways were not in good shape had weeds and anything else that can grow on it . some tees were put in the fairways grass .dirt area on fairways

I do live on a private golf course in Bonita Springs . Are course was closed do to course maintenance .We went here because of it locations . I am just amaze they can get $150-160 in season when the snow birds are here . Supply and demand

This course was not in great condition, except for the greens, which were quick and well maintained. The staff were friendly when you could find them, but the pace of play was slow and the amenities sparse. This was not because they did not have amenities, but there wasn't any staff there. This may have been attributable to this being the slow season and the members don't seem to use the bar, restaurant, etc.. The grass in the fairways and rough were spotty at best resulting in dead patches in many areas. I would not play this course again for the price paid.

The fairways were bare ground in some spots, hard as a rock. Some of the greens were bad and very inconsistent. I was disappointed. I think the price was way too much for what we paid for this time in the season.
