About
The 27 holes at Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club sprawl through a landscape of swaying palms, towering pines, and mature live oaks. Located in Bonita Springs, the club offers some of the most scenic holes in southwest Florida. The numerous water features are difficult to ignore, coming into play on almost every one of the club's holes. The holes are played in three 18-hole combinations. The South/North golf course is a challenging but fair layout that features strategically placed bunkers and several doglegs. The club's signature hole is the North nine's second. This scenic par 3 plays to a well protected green that features a bunker on the right, and out-of-bounds to the left. In addition to the three golf courses there is a practice facility with a driving range, pitching and chipping areas, and two large putting greens.

Challenging but fair
Enjoyable golf course. Greens were in good shape.
Course is in great shape
The course was in great shape but there is a fair amount of water which is why I felt it was challenging.
okay for a public course
$140+ per round. North 9 is very tight. South is more open. Relatively short courses, even from tips. Very small greens, but are in good shape & quick. Fairways were in okay shape, rough is inconsistent. A fair bit of space between green & next tee, thus difficult to walk. Basically, an average public course.
Enjoyed the day
Super friendly staff, both the bad drop and in the Pro Shop. Very tight course lined with houses on booths sides on most holes. East course was straight forward, lots of blind holes on the north course. Will defiantly play it again. Nice bar area for after the round!
Definitely Play Again
First time I played the course yesterday and was paired w three guys who play there often. That was a big help especially on the north course which is short but requires you to put the ball in the right spot in order to have a shot at the green. Enjoyed it overall and will play again… greens were in superb shape and rolled true, despite that I was over reading the break!!
