the best local course based on layout, condition,greens and staff! my favorite course second only to spanos in stockton.!
Dryden East
I have been playing this course for years when I visit the area and this is the worst condition I have ever seen. It used to be much more green and plush than Dryden, but now it’s Dryden East. It’s rock hard fairways and horrible tee boxes make for a a terrible experience. You def don’t need a divot fixer, as the greens are dry and hard too. Lots of different types of grass and weeds make it rough around the greens and your ball usually finds dirt or dry rock hard arid turf. The course has lots of garbage, homeless and debris. I definitely will not play here again and recommend going to Stockton or Manteca for a cheaper and more pleasurable experience. This 50$ was so overpriced for the garbage course quality. It just messes up my nice clubs playing off concrete. They have no organization and let people tee off at will. This makes pace of play horrible. I’m really disappointed to see this course that I used to enjoy in such crap shape. Don’t play here.
Fairways
Fairways are worn and hard as a rock. Greens are in good condition but fairways need some work

Kind of rough..
I haven't played here for many many years so my recollection of this course was lush and green like when it was new. Kind of disappoint it isn't being maintained very well. Greens however were fine.
Friendly staff
I had an excellent experience at creekside this Tuesday, 4-6-21 the staff was extremely helpful and the food in the clubhouse was delicious
Bad luck
Hate giving bad reviews but I played right after they “punched” or aerated the greens and they had sand all over them, the back 9 was closed and it was 20 mph winds. Necessary process i guess but made for a lousy day.
tee boxes in need of seeding, repair
Tee boxes on #4 (blue), #5 (blue and white), #7 (blue), #8 (especially blue and white), #12 (white), #15 (blue and white) are all in need of seeding and repair. All are very worn as they do not seem to be rotated enough and volume of play is tearing tee boxes up.
Fairways, rough are fine, greens are extremely nice- very quick especially for downhill, side hill putts. Stay below hole if you want to stay sane!
