Not great
Greens really slow and damaged. Fairways in poor conditions. No facilities at club like a restaurant. It was closed the whole Sunday.
Membership days
Booked for one golfer. When arrived was told I had booked a 4th position in comp. I asked to play by myself as I’m still learning and did not want to embarrass myself. I also asked if my wife would could come. The lady said no you cannot do that, I mentioned I’ve done it 3 times already and would be willing to pay more. When I mentioned I will not be playing. I got are you sure as I walked out. No offer to help or money back or even another fee off time option. It would have been good to know of these conditions before booking. Now I’ve lost $63 and no game
Lucky to play after all the water
Fun course. Conditions good after all the rainfalls in the région.
Happy to have played there
Great track
Course was in great condition except for the bunkers more rocks then sand in some of them. Always enjoy the course
Couple of things to improve
Very difficult to know where the next hole was.
Plus great you could score on the in cart screen, but could not get a copy of the result at the end. Should be able to walk into pro shop say - I was in cart 62 & do print out of card / results. Had I known no print out I could at least- taken a photo of both nines.
Fallen Off
The course is evidently struggling in its wet environment and is in poor shape. Every bunker on course should be GUR and a significant proportion of the overall course is unplayable.
The course has deteriorated significantly from its former glory and presents poor value when compared to other options in the region. A shame considering the friendliness of the staff.
It was a hot day and the drinks cart was there always around with plenty of cold beverages. The Greens' need to be faster
Very muddy course with bunkers that were unplayable
The course layout is good, drinks cart and snacks were handy. Staff really friendly and helpful. The course however was very muddy and wet - lots of water everywhere - the bunkers were either no play zones or overgrown with weeds.
Away from this course. Do not waste your time
4 guy front of me, golf skill were bad but what make it worse is they are not playing golf. They are spending more time pick up balls in the water. I report to the club house but no one cares.
Club closed without any notification
I had booked two tee times at Gainsborough Green Golf Club for 2:26 PM under booking numbers (399142820) and (399192647). We arrived at the venue 20 minutes before the scheduled time, only to find that the golf club was completely closed.
This caused significant inconvenience as we drove over 100 km, incurred toll fees, and wasted approximately 1.5 hours of our time. What made the situation even more frustrating was the complete lack of notification from your team, whether through email, phone, or even a notice at the entrance of the pro shop.
