Has Been Better
Superintendent needs to step up maintenance. Tee boxes were uneven, bunkers were like concrete, poor course drainage.

Great Course South of Atlanta
Heron Bay will not disappoint you. You will find a great layout, with plenty of traps and winding creeks that you will have to take into consideration on certain drives, layups and shots to greens. The tees could have been in better condition, but the greens were fine. There should have been a set of tees at around 5500 yards. Calling the tees at 6003 yards "Senior Tees" defies the move to Play it Forward. If you want to play a challenging course, try Heron Bay.

Greenest course in the area
It was great to play a course that had a lot of green grass on it rather than dormant grass. The greens, fairways, and sand traps were all excellent. It takes a while to get there, but it's worth the drive.

We really enjoyed playing this course. It was in good shape. Not busy and good practice facilities. Great location just 7 miles for 75. Lovely water views.
