Club at Shoal Creek

After a crippling storm, the course is coming along. Time and effort will determine the outcome. Nice people.

For this time of year and being in a drought the course was in good condition. I played from the white tees and it was plenty challenging. I enjoyed it and will return often.

Course was okay, some spots in fairway and cart paths need repair.

My experience was good, as previously mentioned, some of the tee boxes were very rough and they should make the cart paths closer to the tee boxes because people obviousl have made their own paths thru the years. Greens were good but not as fast as other reviewers have said. Overall I had a good time and would try it again.

Super friendly staff. Would have appreciated a starter, as there was a group that claimed to be ahead of us, just three minutes before we were about to tee off. We ended up skipping the second hole, even though they did say we could play through. Course isn’t in great shape but good enough for a fun day of playing. Tee boxes were challenging to get your tees in, with them being dried out. Overall a good course… with more work and rain coming, it will be great in a few more months, I’m sure.

Because of the recent lack of rain, the greens were fast and unforgiving. However, for the same reason the fairways were hard therefore the aftermath of tee shots were tremendous. Twenty to thirty yards after the ball touched down. Which gives a false sense of length on drives.

Nice layout and design, the tee boxes are very hard and need a lot of work to be on par with the fairways. The greens are very fast and need alot of work.

Played BT for first time since new ownership.

Course really looked good and lots of improvements..

Me and my playing partner was teamed with some young military guys who were enjoying their day off.

We had a great time and made some friends along the way.

Fairways need sun and water. T boxes need some work. Very Barron. Greens were perfect though

A great course, especially for the walking fee. I enjoy this track a lot. It can be challenging, but rewarding. It can get pretty muddy. A few holes don’t matter on the tee shot because it all funnels to the same spot due to maintenance. Overall good, just don’t expect anything close to Augusta.

Ran out of carts so had to wait 30 minutes before teeing off. Needs to be a better job among communication between golf shop and outdoor staff.

Lady at the pro shop desk is always very friendly and to the point. Course was typical for this time of the year because of ice and snow. No complaints

Course is in great shape for this time of year and considering they are still recovering from the tornado a couple years ago. There are signs of improvement all over and each time we play here it’s a bit better. Compliments to management and grounds crew. We’ll definitely be back.
