Golfer Reviews
Nice course
Overall a nice course. Good practice green and driving range. Fairways and greens ( which roll great ) for the most part are very nice. We played mid-week and finished in 4 hours for a 4-some so good pace of play. My only complaint is the bunkers need work and I do think they are trying. Some are basically hardpan and some nice white fluffy sand. I realize bunkers are penalty areas, but some consistency would be nice. Just FYI, no food and beverage due to a remodel except for snacks in the pro-shop so don't come hungry or expect to ice down any drinks. The GolfNow hot deal for $35 we paid is a fair price.
GolfNow No Longer The Dealer
I paid more using the GolfNow app with the fees as the course had same price for 18 after 3 PM! GolfNow app bye bye
Heron Bayy
Greens and tees good; fairways rival Hartsfield landing strips. Cart paths terrible. No drinking water on course. Hardpan on fairways and practice tee.. Many, many years of neglect, lack of maintenance....peeling paint on pro shop windows, etc.
Course in great shape
Had a beautiful day of golf. Pace of play was a little slow. Foursome in front of us was not playing ready gold.
Greens are superb, pace is opposite
Took 5 hours to play 18, which really negates all the positives which is amazing greens, good fairways and average tees and bunkers. Also $70 is way too pricey for a muni of this caliber.
Great Course South of Atlanta
Heron Bay will not disappoint you. You will find a great layout, with plenty of traps and winding creeks that you will have to take into consideration on certain drives, layups and shots to greens. The tees could have been in better condition, but the greens were fine. There should have been a set of tees at around 5500 yards. Calling the tees at 6003 yards "Senior Tees" defies the move to Play it Forward. If you want to play a challenging course, try Heron Bay.

Course in good condition however kinda wet. Cart paths needs work on them.
Also prices are too high.
Greenest course in the area
It was great to play a course that had a lot of green grass on it rather than dormant grass. The greens, fairways, and sand traps were all excellent. It takes a while to get there, but it's worth the drive.
mix review
Layoff love it but greens which is the most important thing to me were very bad. Hate hitting a great shot then miss a putt due to bad greens
Greens were punched and sandy
The course layout is great, however the fairways and greens are going through changes. Greens were sandy and punched

Good course but a little wet today. Green fee's are too high for this course.
