Manatee Golf Course

My honest review of the course and staff. I have been playing this course for over ten years it’s a good municipal course.The course was in good condition greens were really good. As for the staff woman at check in was friendly and very helpful. All the course workers were respectful and would try to stay out of your way on the course and were polite. The morning attendant at the cart barn beyond helpful and friendly. But sad to say the afternoon attendant was not very courteous. While returning a cart he seemed like he had a bug you know where. Maybe he should look for a job elsewhere.

I had a fun round, however the course conditions were poor. The tee boxes looked terrible and the fairways were patchy. I understand that the heat does not make it easy to control the conditions but at times it caused bad lies. The greens were very nice.

The price per round at this time was great.

Had a great day playing golf at Manatee with my husband. Tea boxes were a little rough but other than that of course was great pays to play was great and would play there again.

The only thing that was great about this round was pace of play was great. The greens are obviously the only thing that is getting much water. Most all tee boxes were lacking water and as a result grass was gone weeds taking over. Fairway were ok but numerous spots were there is no grass only sand, dirt and weeds.
