Manatee Golf Course

You can play bad and still keep the pace of play. The game of golf has grown tremendously over the last few years unfortunately not many quite understand the rules or etiquette.

Some tees are mostly sand. Fairways are dry as well. Greens are in pretty good shape. For the money and dryness this time of year, not bad.

The value is excellent for a round of golf here… the greens were well kept! The Tee boxes need some love as well as some of the fairways, but enjoyed playing here and will be back.

Greens are very nice. Fairways are in good shape. Some tee boxes need some attention. Pace of play was good. Three players played 18 holes in 3.5 hours. Staff was friendly and price for course was very good.

Course is in pretty rough shape. Not totally their fault since it has been hot and dry here for months but I hit 9 of 14 fairways and 7 of those 9 fairways I hit my ball was in sand. Also when it's 90+ degrees is it to much to ask to have more than one water cooler per 9? Great little course but they could definitely do a few of the little things to make it better.

The Greens were great---a few bumps, but mostly excellent.

Fairways were pretty nice. Only real issue was some of the ground around the greens. Some spots had sparse grass, making pitch shots a little more difficult.

Tee-boxes were a little sketchy. Could use a lot of help there, but not enough of an issue. After all, that's what they make Tees for, right?

All in all, a fine track with a good layout and enough degrees of difficulty to test almost any level of player.
