Good greens now
Had an early tee time so pace of play was not an issue. Tee boxes are atrocious but the rest of the course looks pretty good considering the drought. I play 2 or 3 rounds a week in the Bradenton/Sarasota area and these are the best greens in Manatee County right now.

Course needs to be watered more for more grass on fairways.

Fix tee boxes, greens excellent
Tee boxes are a wreck. Fairways & greens are great but tee boxes create problems. Amateurs will hit from sand & ruin their score...located next to water treatment facility so the stink is thru holes 1-3 + 10-11. Cant fix that but fix tee boxes! Not currently worth $50/golfer.

Is etiquette still a thing?
You can play bad and still keep the pace of play. The game of golf has grown tremendously over the last few years unfortunately not many quite understand the rules or etiquette.

Good considering weather conditions
Some tees are mostly sand. Fairways are dry as well. Greens are in pretty good shape. For the money and dryness this time of year, not bad.

My first round at Manatee Municipal Golf Course
The value is excellent for a round of golf here… the greens were well kept! The Tee boxes need some love as well as some of the fairways, but enjoyed playing here and will be back.

Very nice course!
Greens are very nice. Fairways are in good shape. Some tee boxes need some attention. Pace of play was good. Three players played 18 holes in 3.5 hours. Staff was friendly and price for course was very good.
