Manatee Golf Course

Goood course lot of challenging holes greens were running good and r being taken care of Only drawback no rangers on course and 4 holes ahead were some hackers that held up the whole course from the 5 th hole till 18 at one point we had 6 groups waiting on 11 groups left they had 3 open holes in front of them. Just need rangers on course

Booked a round for 2 players playing 18 holes, tee time 1:42.

Checked in with pro shop to start and found that they have a tip jar at the check in counter. This is really not acceptable. How would you feel going through the check out line at a grocery store only to find a tip jar. When booking the reservation which was about 2 hours prior to tee time, it appeared wide open. No issues at tee off, hole 2 hit the wall of golfers with no starters to be seen. Pace of play was about 5 hours, totally unacceptable. When returning golf cart, no starter around. Much improvement needed at this course. Would not recommend this course.

Four of us have been playing this course regularly due to the great condition that the course is in. They have recently reseeded their fairways and consequently the grass is a little longer but worth the price to keep the course in great shape. The greens putt true and are in decent condition. You should be proud of your course and despite the lack of rain, it’s in good condition! Thanks for rewarding rounds!

The course is really being taken care of. You can see by all the work that’s being done around it. It’s in fantastic shape and improving every time we go.

Staff was great course and starter management was poor 4 groups waiting in first tee. Leading to a snails pace of play, course was in poor condition, 10 dollar course maybe.

Nice burmuda fairways, greens in great condition and they hold, challenging fun and fair. Not crowded, good pace of play. Friendly staff. Fast carts. Lotta bang for your buck! I recommend.

The courses in very good shape. Not crazy about the sand traps I have some shells in them which I'm sure is part of the ambiance. Had to play The Back Nine twice because they had a high school tournament on the front nine. Personally that's okay with me I like to see the high school kids out playing. Really good time. Recommend you play this course

Course was in decent shape and an all around great value. We played 18 holes just under 3 hours and the greens are still healing and should be fine in a few weeks. Great value.

Played in the late afternoon to check on my swing because it was super cheap. It is a municipal course, so you get what you pay for here. Not in great shape.

Unspectacular course with very poor greens. Back nine was closed, so was stuck playing the front twice. Greens really need to be rolled.

The course was in great condition except for some bare spots in the fairway on about 4-5 holes. Number 4 is a tough narrow hole!

First I want to start off by stating that the gentleman in the pro shop is always a pleasure and very accommodating. He once again was amazing! I have had a few occurrences with the grumpy starter after this last time enough is enough not worth dealing with him. He was insanely rude to our group, talking in a condescending disrespectful tone when we checked in. He screamed at our second group behind us accusing them of not checking in with him not 10 minutes after they had already showed their receipt. He then proceeded to bypass our tee time with a group of his friends another foursome. At the end of the round my friends dropped their cart at the return sign, having not played here before they did not know this lazy bag prefers it pulled all the way under the cover next to his desk. He started screaming and hollering at them to pull it all the way up instead of simply explaining he wanted the cart right next to him. They have been golfing for 40 years at public courses all over and have never experienced someone like this guy. I was not shocked as this guy is the most miserable and angry guy you could employ for this job. I am actually shocked there is not more poor reviews of this guys attitude and demeanor as I have seen him treat everyone like this that isn’t a member. Not worth playing here again plenty of courses with employees that are actually happy to be alive and pleasant.
