This course is my new favorite.
Great distance from Atlanta and a very good price. Each hole is nicely secluded and just traveling through the course is enjoyable as there's little development around it and many of the cart paths between holes traverse through beautiful forest and marshland. The holes are fairly diverse and definitely challenging.
the course is in great shape.
The course management has had a great deal of attention and it shows. I would highly recommend it to all the friends that are golfers. Keep up the great work on the course and it will get plenty of players out on the course to play. I will come back without hesitation, it truely was enjoyed. R.G.
Awesome turn around
This place was all but dead and now its awesome. New owners and ones that realy care. Beat the crowd and play here before everyone finds out how nice it is.
Eagles Brooke made 36aDay, 18 ONLY!
Should have know by the empty parking lot I was in for a challenge. Fairways were excellent despite a lot of recent rain.Greens like many quality courses had been aerated and a little bumpy. Still greens were good and true. Bunkers were well maintained. I would suggest bringing a playing partner with you to converse during your travel between holes. Then again the breeze on a hot day can help keep you cool. Going out gives you a few holes to score, you going to need them! Coming home, EB becomes a beast and will try to put it claws on golfers. You want an opportunity to tackle a 5 Par at 620 yards from the gold, EB has it! Overall I rated it 4 stars, but for the money it was as good as it gets. EB put my game back to the range, but I'll be back real soon!
Very Challenging But Fun Course!
This was my first time playing Eagles Brooke and I really enjoyed the layout. When you first arrive there is a huge clubhouse on the right that a previous owner had built and according to the marshal that was very friendly they are in the process of starting construction of a new clubhouse overlooking the 18th green . Evidently the original clubhouse was not sold with the rest of the course when new owners took over in January. So the temporary pro shop is in a mobile trailer, but don't let that steer you away from this course. Most of the holes wander through the woods with no homes or lots in sight, which I loved. The cart girl was friendly and very good looking and had sandwiches/beer/gatorade etc for reasonable prices. Definitely worth trying if your in the area!
Very challenging from the back tees...
Eagles Brook CC is an oustanding layout with elavation changes, great course bunkering and a creek that appears throughout the course, crossing fairways, green fronts, laterial along the sides of fairways. This course demands that you hit the fairways on all par fours and fives, there are no shots available once it hits the woods, Even though the course is over 7000 yards long from both the back tees and the next set of tees, this course demands accuracy. You will hit every club in your bag . I can't wait to play this course again, now that I know where I am going, definitely a shot makers challenge. The bent grass greens rolled smoothly but are a bit slow with Atlanta's summer heat. Mini- Verde and Champions Bermuda are much faster this time of year. But the greens are still pretty good, you just have to hit the putts a bit harder. This is a very beautiful course that has drained extremely well with the amount of rain we have received the past two weeks.
A five star value.
Just played yesterday (Monday). Not crowded and very impressive condition. Fairways were excellent despite some low-lying water due to a lot of recent rain. While I can't say the greens were excellent, they were all very good and true. Bunkers were well maintained. Overall I rated it 4 stars but for the money it was as good as it gets.
had a great time
The last time I was at the course it had just been aerated so I was very happy with the way the course looked this time. Well maintained and absolutely beautiful layouts on every hole! The course was pretty soggy down the middle of the fairways but it's been raining for about a week straight so that would be my only complaint.
Great course. Very fun to play.
I have played EB for several years and this is the best the course has ever been. I live in Eagles Brook and so glad we have owners that keep the course as good as it is..
A great course that has improved nicely
Eagles Brooke was not my first choice to play on Monday, but when it became my only choice (someone had grabbed the final tee time for the first course I had in mind), I made my reservation and hoped for the best. The last time I was there was last summer, with baked out fairways and patchy greens.
This time around however, I was mighty impressed. The course conditions have dramatically improved. Yes, the course still plays fast and firm, but you have grass under your ball rather than hardpan. The greens rolled true, and the fairways have filled in nicely, making the design stand out more than it otherwise would have.
Strategy and ball placement are important on several holes. The large greens can make pin positions tricky, especially when they are tucked into corners like they were Monday. It's wide open enough for long (but not-so-straight) hitters, but challenging enough to make you think about hitting driver or hybrid on many holes.
A nice course, conditioned well, and challenging enough to make me want to come back for more. Well done, Eagles Brooke.
The course is poorly marked. There are no stakes on the entire course despite many hazard areas. I place call to course regarding this matter

Greatly Improved
This course was taken over recently. The new owners made the course go from bad to great. I will probably join at the beginning of the New Year.
Great Course That Challenges Your Every Shot
Whether playing from the Tips or the forward tees you are challenged from every tee box. Course layout makes you think like a chess player and penalize you for mishits. Fairways offer great attacking angles on well placed drives into generous greens. Subtle breaks and firm surfaces lend themselves to an often times frustrating putting experience for those without practiced touch and feel. Overall the course is challenging but fair, always in great playing condition, and well worth the hour and fifteen minute drive from my home course at least once a month. Highly recommend this course to golfers of all experience levels, especially those looking to up the ante.
great features, friendly staff, great value
Best value on the south side of Atlanta. This course is not only challenging it also an excellent design and in good condition
Incredible views and outstanding maintenance
You get the sense of being out in the woods on just about every hole. Concrete cart paths are great. Pro shop is a double wide but I don't need anything special if the course is so good.
This course challenges your game on every hole
Excellent course! Would not recommend walking this course - long distances between holes. Your games will definitely improve after playing a round at this course.
Great Value. Challenging Greens
Other than having to wait on golf carts, it was a great experience. It's a great track with challenging greens.
Great Course
Its been a while, but finally came back to EBGC! The course is back! Greens are running as pure as ever! Fast! The fairways need attention. Lots of lies whith no grass or hard pan. Makes it difficult to hit high approach shots. The bunkers and tee boxes are good. Again, greens are awesome!
club house is a trailer and fairways are thin in turf coverage
course is good layout buts is in need of some growth time especially the fairways
Great New Management
New Management has done a wonderful job on the course. This used to be a hidden jewel in Atlanta until the old management let the course get run down. Now the new management has brought the course back to life. Its
really in great shape and a joy to play.
