About
Bartram Trail Golf Club in Evans is situated just minutes from Augusta National. Despite the fame of its neighbor, Bartram Trail stands out for being Columbia County's only public golf course. It has a location next to Patriot's Park that provides forests of mature hardwoods and pine trees that were fully utilized in the design. The scenic and well preserved landscape of the golf course includes rolling hills, natural wetlands, and the meandering Euchee Creek. The dedication to preserving the beauty of the terrain earned the course certification as an Audubon International Wildlife Sanctuary. Although the hills, trees, and wetlands present some formidable challenges, Bartram Trail Golf Club was designed with playability in mind as well. There are some tricky holes but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper.

Bartram trail
The are has not had any significant rain for the past 4 days. But the course was so wet it felt like i was golfing in a swamp. They really need to work on the course’s drainage issues

Hand an amazing day , awesome round with two great guys. I hope to play here again very soon.
A sweet Georgia round
The staff was most accomodating and friendly. The course was very wet, but it drained and played well for what had recently happened, rain wise. I enjoyed the great variety of holes and the excellent Par 5's. The greens were fair and fun to chip to and putt on. A recommended play for the greater Augusta area.
Early October
Course was in good shape, greens were extremely fast for this time of year and the water levels in all of the hazards. Tee boxes were in good shape and fairways were in good shape. Not sure how they don’t have gps in the carts yet. Or why sprinkler heads are marked with yardage . Makes some jokes a little hard to judge distance wise
Call before you go.
I had never golfed this course before and was really excited to. Booked my tee time and showed up 15 minutes early (as usual). Only to find out that there was a tournament going on and that I might be able to play in “an hour or so”. I was unable to wait for my opportunity to tee off so I just had to waste the money I spent on a round of golf. The staff did not care about this inconvenience and told me that their boss shouldn’t have made the time available and if i wanted a refund I would have to take it up with Golf Now. I’m not concerned about the money. I was just treated very disrespectfully and that is why I decided to leave a review.

Great greens and speed. Challenging blind holes. Not too much water or sand traps. Definitely playing this course again....
Great course but could use improvement.
The course was not in bad shape for this time of year. They took out a lot of sand traps and replaced them with grass. So now you have big grass bunkers that give you a horrible lie or makes the ball go in crazy directions. It was very hot and there are very few holes with water available. You can order food from your cart but you have to pick it up at the clubhouse. Most places I have been if you can order from the cart they will deliver it to you.
RECOMMENDATION FOR ALL COURSES: If you know that my cart is not in the right place because of the GPS why can't you show me other carts on the display so I know when the course is clear to play.
