Course is wild. No order
The course isn’t really managed. They let anybody play in whatever order they come. They don’t care if you are a walker or rider. They throw anybody anywhere cause they don’t keep track of where people are. It took 2 hours to play 3 holes because of this. Walked up to the counter, dude behind the counter decided it was more important to greet everyone he knew which took an additional 7 mins before I could check in. There’s a girl that was also behind the counter who was basically just standing there. Not sure of her purpose. Never going back. I’d rather pay more for a course where they manage the course and keep play orderly.

Great course - would play again
Course was in good shape, fairways were clean and lively, greens were great with the exception of a weed or two here and there. I played on a Thursday by myself and finished in ~2.5 hours. If you’re planning to play this course make sure you go to Fort Gordon gate 6 and pre-apply for a guest pass if possible. There are instructions to do so on their GolfNow page but I missed them, so I was a bit late for my tee time. Staff were understanding and accommodating since it was a weekday. Also, if it’s your first time playing make sure you ask about the course rotation, they’ve got 27 holes and only 2/3 are intended to be played on any given day. That said, I had an enjoyable round and will definitely be playing again in the future.

beautiful layout, but fairways are like hard pan and greens have growth viruses in them
War zone
The greens have a ton of weeds throughout. I first played the course back in 2014 and it was absolutely immaculate but the course still looks rough seven months after hurricane Helene. Fairways and rough are dry and in dire need of water. The course is challenging and fun to play but it needs some TLC.
Frost delay— no play, need redund
2+ hour delay due to frost; no website posting or notification; found out at check in, so would be a 3 hr wait to play. Purchased tee time on Golf Now so stuck in a do-loop between course and Golf Now on refund.
