About
Bartram Trail Golf Club in Evans is situated just minutes from Augusta National. Despite the fame of its neighbor, Bartram Trail stands out for being Columbia County's only public golf course. It has a location next to Patriot's Park that provides forests of mature hardwoods and pine trees that were fully utilized in the design. The scenic and well preserved landscape of the golf course includes rolling hills, natural wetlands, and the meandering Euchee Creek. The dedication to preserving the beauty of the terrain earned the course certification as an Audubon International Wildlife Sanctuary. Although the hills, trees, and wetlands present some formidable challenges, Bartram Trail Golf Club was designed with playability in mind as well. There are some tricky holes but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper.

Love this course!
I’ve played this course several times and usually book it on a hot deal on golf now when it’s available. I live an hour away but try to play this course at least twice a month. Love the layout and the tee yardage is great for all skills of players. I’ve never seen the course in bad shape since I’ve been playing here, always well kept and the greens roll true. Definitely recommend this course!
Course in good shape
Overall course is great. Greens were a little on the slow side but all in good shape. Pace of play slowed a lot on the back nice but still played 3.5 hours as a single so not terrible
Course is always in great condition
Very fun and challenging course that is in great condition every time I play it. Great facilities and great staff!
A Must Play
This course is my 2nd favorite in the CSRA to play being a public course , it has great amenities and staff , with challenging and well maintained fairways and greens, if you have not played it , you are truly missing out
Understand but Unfair
I understand agreements and the rules behind using this application, but my 3 week old son had an emergency and we had to take him to the ER where they ended up admitting him to the children’s hospital. At that point the two guys I was supposed to play with asked the course management if I could get a rain check due to the circumstances and they said no.
I hate slow play
Everything was great except the pace of play. Had to wait on every shot on the back nine. Usually while waiting on the tee box the group behind us would drive up. Noticed a group of five 2 groups ahead of us. All told it was a 4 hour & 20 minute round - not good.
Beautiful, but tough course
Very nice layout on this course. The staff was very accommodating, and course conditions were great for so early in the season. We booked as a twosome, and got around in just a little over 3 hours..Can't wait to play it again !!

Poor Value for Fees Charged
Course utililized a “surge type fee” thee times the week prior to the Masters, and then failed to deliver a golf experience of value.
Play was slow and the group ahead of us consisted of 5 members.
Rental clubs were also twice the posted costs and our two bags had ten year old Nike Vapor irons and an incomplete twenty year old Callaway X-12 irons with no hybrids or fairway metals.
When asked about the increased costs the staff were unapologetic!
It s a great course with friendly staff and a great value for your money.
Great day at Bartram Trail
The course was in good shape and there were no issues with the pace of play.
Greens were a little bumpy on a few holes but overall consistent once speed was figured out.
Course is coming around well
It’s still early but the golf course is in great shape. If you’ve never played it Bartram is a fun course with a lot of different looks. Greens were excellent and rolled true. Our favorite in the Augusta area

Watch out for the “Dog Fight”
I had a 7:50 tee time and the starter at the desk told me that the front 9 would be smooth but after the turn I would caught up in a big group... He failed to tell me it was a regular shotgun group that they let off at 9am and they got in front of me and slowed me up and really made me mad. I feel that as a paying customer at a golf course, unless it is a posted tournament, players should not be jumped in front of by multiple groups. The only reason I booked the tee time was because I could get to work on time. I was not going to be able to finish so I only ended up playing 9 holes. Very disappointed
