About
Bartram Trail Golf Club in Evans is situated just minutes from Augusta National. Despite the fame of its neighbor, Bartram Trail stands out for being Columbia County's only public golf course. It has a location next to Patriot's Park that provides forests of mature hardwoods and pine trees that were fully utilized in the design. The scenic and well preserved landscape of the golf course includes rolling hills, natural wetlands, and the meandering Euchee Creek. The dedication to preserving the beauty of the terrain earned the course certification as an Audubon International Wildlife Sanctuary. Although the hills, trees, and wetlands present some formidable challenges, Bartram Trail Golf Club was designed with playability in mind as well. There are some tricky holes but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper.

Perfect greens and fairways
Having readable greens is super important to me. Bartram’s greens were nearly perfect. And the fairways were carpet.
Excellent condition. Great fairway lies. The greens were very true and on the fast side. Not a tricked up course and a good test of golf from any tees.
Fast greens
Greens were fast and true! Slow play a bit but worth it. Greens are the best around, for public play anyways.
Good course but a bit on the costly side due to (imo) being one of the better courses of the area
So this course is one of the better courses in this area. Due to that, you are paying for it! As a non-member, $35-$50 for one round is costly; I do not care what anyone says or thinks! If you play once every month or two, fine go for it. I play 3-8 times a week (80% at the course where I am a member). $25 for a decent course is acceptable, $30 for a good one. Not $35+. Anyways the course is kept up well. Usually the greens are fast but this time they were average. With that said they roll true, stay in good condition and the layout is fun (from the tips it posses a challenge). The new clubhouse is nice. Carts are fine. Practice facility is nothing special put putting green is fine. Overall, I'll be back if their customer service stays decent (last year they had the worst attitudes around! Period!)
Great layout
Very challenging and course was in excellent shape. Always look forward to playing at Bartram Trail.
Excellent Greens...
Worth the price with GolfNow discount. New clubhouse but Key kid was totally involved with his phone. Great greens, driving range is good and chipping and putting area give you a real sense of what you'll get on the course.

Course was jammed with people had to get a rain check for 9 holes. Everything else was great

Very friendly customer service. Great shape all the way around. Fast greens. Will play again if in the area.
Super course
Great course. Played on a Wed. morn with Golfnow, They had a senior league and put me out ahead of every one. Never had anyone in front or behind me. Course is in great shape for early April. Greens are extremely fast, never made a putt all day. Still scored OK. Playing from the correct tees is a must. Plays long, plenty of forced carries, and blind shots. Will play if I'm back in the area.

This is a great course. Fun to play tough holes and fun holes back nine is a lot of fun to play last four holes offer two good par 3 a drivable par four and eagle possible on 18.
Fun Golf
It's always a good time at Bartrum, the greens keep us coming back. The course is in transition now , will be in top shape by Masters...New Clubhouse will be very nice addition...
I have seen it better.
The greens were not in the best of shape, especially on the front nine. They were bare and crusty in some places. A new clubhouse is under construction which will to the off-course amenities. An on course would ranger will help in moving slow groups along.
Love this course. Can't go wrong.
I always have a good time when I play. It's a great course and it's a course my whole family can play. The greens are great and the staff does a good job keeping them well maintained. The off course amenities could use some updating but they are currently building a new club house which will be great. It really is a great course and one I will recommend and continue to play.

Nice course great elevation fun to play nice par threes drivable par 4 was wet when we played but great course
Solid Course
Been a few years but still a great Course. Able to get 18 in in about 3 hours. Seemed like Inhad the course to myself. Greens rolling good. Good layout and a lot of different looks without too much trouble. Good rates on Goof Now. Will be back.
