About
Bartram Trail Golf Club in Evans is situated just minutes from Augusta National. Despite the fame of its neighbor, Bartram Trail stands out for being Columbia County's only public golf course. It has a location next to Patriot's Park that provides forests of mature hardwoods and pine trees that were fully utilized in the design. The scenic and well preserved landscape of the golf course includes rolling hills, natural wetlands, and the meandering Euchee Creek. The dedication to preserving the beauty of the terrain earned the course certification as an Audubon International Wildlife Sanctuary. Although the hills, trees, and wetlands present some formidable challenges, Bartram Trail Golf Club was designed with playability in mind as well. There are some tricky holes but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper.

i booked a tee time using Golfnow to try out a new driver I just purchased and get some relaxation in, little did i know i’d be grouped with 3 other strangers, each playing from a different set of tees, so getting a feel for my new club was way out of the question. The course was way overbooked, pace of play was very slow. This is usually my go to course. Today was disappointing and not worth the money, discount or not.
Outstanding course
Very nice layout, lots of elevation change and contour. A couple blind tee shots. Fantastic greens, great condition, pretty fast and very true. Fairways also in very good condition. Most of the tee areas were good, but a couple were in pretty rough shape. Not a big deal, it's November after all. The pro shop staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, a great experience. We'll definitely be back.

Saw rabbits and two deer. Course was in great shape.
cart fees or walking
This is the only course to place walking on the reservation so Golf now customers have to pay the 18.00 fee for a cart. NO OTHER COURSE IN THE AUGUSTA AREA DOES THIS. Why is that? At first , I understood due to Covid-- but now they have plenty of carts on hands- just recently purchased.
Who decides this policy of cart fees for Golf now

Pricing Scam
Advertised for $25. When we arrived they said the $25. was for walking which was stated on GolfNow and then charged $18. per golfer for cart fee. Will never play at Bartram Trail again.
Nice course
The course is in great condition. Pace of play seemed slow yet we finished in around 3 1/2 hours. We played late in the day at lower rates which makes for a good value.

Course is in great condition. Best place to play in Columbia County.
Bartram Trail’s unprofessional staff member, Matthew
Had a bad experience with one of the staff members, Matthew. I had a question about my reservation status on my initial call and he hung up before I could finish my question. I called back to voice my concern for his unprofessionalism and he hung up on me again. This is my first negative experience with Bartram Trail’s staff. I hope that Matthew makes an adjustment to his unprofessional mannerism.
Awesome greens
The greens are huge and rolling true and speedy. Very senior friendly with wide fairway and forgiving hazards.

I experienced the same thing. What's strange is they used to charge us $34. w/cart per golfer when we booked this same deal. Golfnow should not allow this kind of practice. We won't be playing at Bartram Trail unless they change this.
