We have played this course several times over the last few years. This year was such a noticeable difference. All new concrete cart paths, back 9 has been fully redone with all new grasses. We heard they will also be redoing the front 9 ad well. The owner's obviously care about this course and it shows! Very impressed!
Must play course in SW Florida.
New back nine is amazing. Greens are true, fast and pristine. Fun layout with some surprises for first timers. The staff is second to none. The head pro, Scott is one of the best and great person. The amenities offered can’t be beat. This is a must play course for all golfers.

Better Options for Money
They continue to make improvements on the course but it's hard to justify paying $135 to play a round at Palmetto Pine.

Friendly staff
A most enjoyable afternoon. Starter was chatty and friendly. Gave us a nice briefing on course conditions. Happened to pair up later in the round with teaching pro Lee Boos - delightful several holes with him. (No free lessons - grin - just a delightful guy and advocate for the course.)

Well run course with newly improved back nine
New PGA - style sand and some new forward tees improve the back nine of this, fun course.
They don't have the GPS cart screens right now, but they do have newly rated score scores, including three women's tee boxes. fun times!

Good Course
Greens needed some work on renovated nine and all greens sandy but overall a good experience. Not as many water holes as some but still a good amount of water. My guess is better conditions later in the year but enjoyed it for January golf.

Ok Course
Over priced for conditions and layout. Worth about $50-60 with cart. Greens were average. Greens had a lot of poana spots. Tees and Fairways were good. Bunkers were good. Need to lower there price based on overall value of course.. Would come back if prices were more in line with the value of this course.

They have really improved the course in the last 2 years. The staff is great and mulligans the outside restaurant is fun
