Great condition
Course is in good shape especially for summer. Everything is clean and well kept. The pace of play was fantastic and the layout is fun. I will definitely be playing it again!

Improving Course with Good Staff
Staff were nice and helpful to get setup and moving on the round, pace was overall acceptable but two open holes most of the round for group in front of us. We did finish in just over 4:15 but could have been 3:15 if group ahead had been moving at fair pace. Course is basic layout, not overly challenging but is being improved. New paths, new curbing, new sod going in. Conditions look to be good here in a couple of months.

Still a Very Good Course that is Getting Even Better
A lot of money has been put into the course over the last few years to remove junk shrubs on the sides of fairways which not only improves the course's appearance, but also improve pace of play because time isn't wasted looking for lost balls. Yet because of the remaining Palmetto bushes and trees, there is still a penalty for errant shots. Now, new concrete cart paths are being put it. In addition to this commitment to improving the course, the course already has an excellent layout that is fair and fun, and can be challenging. There is a very nice driving range and putting green, and the staff could not be nicer. For now, there are no cups for the water and ice that are provided, so remember to bring your own. I highly recommend this course, and enjoy it every time I play it.

Okay course, expected better.
Aerated greens, greens not good. One hole was completely closed ; played one hole twice. Cart path only for 9 holes, wet.

Should be ashamed
I have never been to a golfcourse that has NO cups for ice and water for participants. It's the middle of Summer and what are we all told to do? Stay hydrated!!! Hard to do if you have nothing to put ice and water in to. We're in the middle of Summer in SW Florida with extreme heat and humidity. There is a real problem with the management on this subject. I will never go back to this course!

We do advertise to bring your own Yeti style cup or purchase one in the Golf Shop for a discount. We are glad to see you rated everything else to be great during your game. First class course
Palmetto-pines is very well maintained and they are now improving the cart paths. The greens have recently been punched as is the norm at this time of the year. All in all this is an above average course. The employees are friendly and helpful as well.

Average
Greens aerated and bumpy, fairways very average, working on cart paths more than the course.

Many better options in Cape Coral and Fort Myers
I’ve heard that they’ve been working on the course and made improvements. Actually thought this may be a good club to join. Unfortunately, conditions were still terrible. Cart path only so be ready to walk you butt off. Would have been quicker play if we just walked the course. Staff was not the friendliest. No beverage cart (it’s Florida and 98 degrees, come on man) Someone who claimed to be the owner was driving around in a custom golf cart, barking at people. Unpleasant and unprofessional. Plenty of other options to play golf in the area so consider spending your money elsewhere.

Terrible Condition
Driving range closed. Chipping green closed. Just a poor upkeep taking place at this course. Played it a month ago and it was in pretty good condition. For all of the money the new owner has dumped into this course he should be dissatisfied with the condition. Over run with weeds. Can’t tell the fairway from the rough. After 9 holes. Arrive at the 10th tee to 3 groups waiting to tee off. Threw in the towel at that point. It will be a long time before I give this course another chance. They will probably blame it on the rain. Which didn’t help but wasn’t the issue at all.

Surprise!!!
I wish I could say it was a good surprise but I can’t. This course will be great when they complete all of the cart path construction. Unfortunately upon booking there was no notice of construction or recently aerated greens. Due to heavy afternoon thundershowers the course was cart path only and a soaked muddy mess. The bad part was that there was very little signage for the construction which meant you make your own path. The course layout was great and my partner and I had a great fellowship just wish I knew about the surprises before booking at full price. The staff was super friendly and gave 5 star service which is why I would recommend and definitely come back next time I am in the area. However, I will not repeat this trip.
