Course in good condition
I have played this course occasional for the past 12 years. They have made a lot of improvements including new trees and new turf and course conditions were generally good. The only thing that was a little disappointing were the greens. The greens were always fast and firm and known as the best in the area. When we played, some were a little bumpy and most were furry and a little slow.

POCC is not Country Club Caliber for the Cost and Conditions of the Course….
Greens Fee & Cart should be not be
What they are asking….just too high.
You might call it a Money Grab.

Lost a few greens
Played here quite of bit last year and liked the changes and upkeep of course. Played for the first time in about 4 months and paid crazy money for a course that has lost a few greens and it’s patching up fairways everywhere. Should have been made aware of course issues at check in.

Good course difficult long par fours small greens I’d play it again little pricey at $108 but still a good course from the white tees

Fairways were fair Greens were poor
Staff and the layouts were great. Course conditions however were unacceptable. Fairways were full of weeds. The rough was the same. The greens were long, bumpy, and full of sand. Speeds were very inconsistent. Not worth the price currently. Hope they continue to improve. Pace of play was good for this time of year.

Didn’t know you can now have a group of 6
Busy Sunday afternoon on any golf course here in south west Florida and they want you to lay in 4 hours . Starting our back 9 and the course was busy a group of 6 starts to play in front of us called the pro shop and as we we’re getting backed up other groups behind us we’re saying how can they permit this .. they came out after a couple more holes and said they were not moving fast enough so the group talked with us and we went though but the 6 kept playing on and we watch the others get backed up .. so I’m going to get six friends and play together because it must be permitted..at any other course it’s not permitted so this is good to know that they do..

Great course and challenging
I really enjoyed playing P-P. A bit long for my old bones but generally in very good condition. Friendly staff, good amenities. Super way to pass a Sunday afternoon.

Florida golf in February
The staff was very nice and Cliff the starter was excellent an very congenial . The price is a bit high but cheaper then most in February. I purchased on golf now so i got a small deal. I would play again . The pace of play was absolutely perfect . Done in 4 hrs even with no rush from behind an not much waiting in front ! The perfect weather helped also . Easy to navigate to each hole !

PP 2.18.22
Overall good experience. Some greens need improvements, all grass is brown. Played the front 9 in under 2 hours. Once we hit the turn everything slowed down for the back 9. The food shack on 10th tee seemed to slow down play on the back as everyone stopped for food/beverages.

Good course
Most greens were nice, but two were dead and a lot of the grass was dormant. I would play again, but would rather wait until the grass is green again

what the heck
Played this course last year and liked it enough to play it again this year. I knew we were in trouble when I saw the practice green and it was completely brown. Not sure what happened to this place but the grounds keeper should be fired. All the greens were in poor shape and two of them were also completly brown, not a single blade of green grass!!! The rest of the greens were slow and your ball bounce all over the place. We always play the ball down but because the fairways were in such bad shape we rolled the ball everywhere. They were resodding a lot of the fairways but it was bad everywhere. absolutely unfair playing conditions and no fun at all. Should of asked for a refund, wasted day.
