Florida golf in February
The staff was very nice and Cliff the starter was excellent an very congenial . The price is a bit high but cheaper then most in February. I purchased on golf now so i got a small deal. I would play again . The pace of play was absolutely perfect . Done in 4 hrs even with no rush from behind an not much waiting in front ! The perfect weather helped also . Easy to navigate to each hole !

PP 2.18.22
Overall good experience. Some greens need improvements, all grass is brown. Played the front 9 in under 2 hours. Once we hit the turn everything slowed down for the back 9. The food shack on 10th tee seemed to slow down play on the back as everyone stopped for food/beverages.

Good course
Most greens were nice, but two were dead and a lot of the grass was dormant. I would play again, but would rather wait until the grass is green again

what the heck
Played this course last year and liked it enough to play it again this year. I knew we were in trouble when I saw the practice green and it was completely brown. Not sure what happened to this place but the grounds keeper should be fired. All the greens were in poor shape and two of them were also completly brown, not a single blade of green grass!!! The rest of the greens were slow and your ball bounce all over the place. We always play the ball down but because the fairways were in such bad shape we rolled the ball everywhere. They were resodding a lot of the fairways but it was bad everywhere. absolutely unfair playing conditions and no fun at all. Should of asked for a refund, wasted day.

Problems here right now
Paid $89 to play. The putting green, chipping green and #5 green were all dead! It was blamed on a chemical error and frost. Also, had to play through workers in the fairway of #9 who were laying sod.
At least they are working on the course, but $88 is too high for me to play a course in this condition. if you can play for $60, that would make sense.
No one warned us of the problems till we arrived, so I’m letting you know here.

Too bad what's happened
Too bad. This was an ever-improving course.....until recently. Greens are brown and weeds are taking over the fairways . Obviously something is going on here. You can see tire track marks on the greens that are dying, as if a disease is being spread by their own equipment. I really had hope for this place and the new ownership.

Find another course
Read a review that range was much improved...did not see any changes; had us down low so irons only. But getting up to the tee just looked like they were trying to get so many people in and had to wait all day on basically every shot. The course allowing right from the 2nd hole, a five-some with three women (nothing vs. women just needed to point out a male rider a "6th person" who picked up a club every once in a while). They did move along with group ahead, but..."Where's the ranger?" Greens were awful. Never felt like I had a chance at making a putt unless I went with ramming speed. Said they needed to over seed...thought that work is done in November, not during high season! For that fact, the value was poor as they should have advised before making a tee time or given a discount. Staff was pleasant even the beverage lady...but won't play here again.

Poor conditions
Decent layout, but sparse grass on fairways, zero rough, and browned out, inconsistent greens. All this for $60+. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. But I won't be playing there again until they turn the track around. Wish I could say it wasn't so.
