Palmetto Pines golf
Course was in fair condition at best. Greens we’re all brown and looked dead. Fairway grass is sparse with sod repairs on many of the holes. Water coolers and ice machines appeared to be working but no cups were provided. Cheap but likely blamed on COVID. Florida golf has it backwards. Courses gouge golfers with sky high prices in January, February and March: much higher than their true market value, when conditions are the worst. Then in summer, when grasses are lush, you can play them for a song. Smart business would be to average prices throughout the year. Revenue to the owners would be the same and no one is the wiser. Customers would walk away feeling good about paying $55 for a round of golf rather than paying $110 for playing on dead or no grass.

Greens
Something happened to the greens .all brown but still playable

Disapointed
Haven't played there for 2 years. I heard they have done a lot of work on the course but it seems like it was only to the rough areas and cart paths. The greens were brown and the fairways had a lot of bare spots. I guess they can't control the weather but for the price it is out of line. They are resodding some of the fairways but at the price they charge they should be pristine. Don't think I'll be back this season even if it is in my backyard.

Horrible Shape
Played the course two weeks ago and it was in ok shape. Today the greens were brown and freshly sanded They overwatered the course overnight and there was puddles. The fairways were curt very short and were very wet. There was a lot of bar areas in the fairways and they were resodding several of them. Paid $100 and it should have been $30. Staff was great and the layout was fine. The course should have been closed.

Nice course
Didn’t mention on golf now that blue jeans were not allowed had to go to target to buy pants. Bar bathrooms and food we’re all shut down by the time we got done

Good value for money
Great layout! Good value for the money! One of the golf professionals came out on the course and thanked us for praying. Very nice touch. The greens were a little brown, perhaps a lot of sand on them.

Nice layout. Very friendly staff but course needs some TLC. I was told there is a new owner and they are putting in a lot of upgrades. I did see a lot of work in progress.
