Fair challenge
This course offers a fun round with lots of sand to challenge your accuracy but not as much water as similar tracks in the area.
The golf course charged $70 But quality and amenities is more like a $30 golf course. The cart paths are all sand with very little areas that are paved and most of the paved areas are completely broken up, paths are full of potholes. Most of the fairways were bare in many areas the few fairways that had been over seeded with ryegrass were not mowed and it was like hitting out of the ruff. When you arrive there is no one to take your clubs and put them on the cart it’s all self serve and not very conveniently located to do so even though they’re charging the price that all other golf courses at that price take care for you. there is no cart service on the golf course so the only way you get any food or drink is at the halfway house which is quite shabby inside and very limited on quick food at the turn. Most of The greens had a good speed but some of them had severe damage on them. When we picked up our cart at the cart barn the guy said that he doesn’t really have any carts that are charged and here’s the best one good luck! It made it through 13 holes before it limped its way back through the last five dying on the 18th hole. So I still gave the course a generous three stars as you can see.

Course is under repair
The course was a nice course, however the greens had burnt out at some time and were coming back, they were much more brown then they were green. We had workers with riding sand machines on 3 holes while we were golfing....had to wait on them. On 18 they were working in the MIDDLE of the fairway putting in huge amounts of sod, which we had to hit around. Other fairways had sod down that had already been replaced. My issue is, my friend and I paid $75-80 to play this course and it was just not worth it.
Those who reviewed the course prior to me making a tee time definitely have an RCI syndrome.
(Rectal Cranial Inversion). Wait a month before playing this course and it might be worth it once the greens come back. Signed.....Disappointed.

Not great but decent
Course overall was in threadbare condition with not much grass anywhere. Very thin lies primarily with some poor areas. Pace was slow, no marshall that seemed to help play move along. Some tee boxes were poor condition and placement on downhill slope, blue tees on couple holes not on level ground.

Rip off for the conditions
What a waste of time and money to drive 1 hr each way and pay $75 to play this course. The fairways were horrible, all dried out and hard pan to where you were afraid to take a divot. When we got to 18 there was a crew of guys working in the middle of the fairway as we were about to tee off with 3 or 4 big machines out there and huge chunks of the fairway all ripped out and large dirt mounds everywhere. I don’t have a problem with them working on the course to try to improve it , but who do they think they are to charge so much to play a course in disrepair. As I said I paid $75 but the others in my group all paid over $100. That is a complete rip off. The greens were dried out also although they did roll ok. What I am more disappointed with though are the people who gave fairly good reviews within a couple weeks of me going there because I used those reviews to decide to try the place. I’m afraid to think about what kind of courses those people are used to playing golf at.

The course is working on it but the fairways are in rough shape. You might want to give it a few months.

I played this course about 6 weeks ago and it was in fair condition. I was astounded to see how badly it degraded in such a short time. The good news is they are resodding several fairways and the greens, although brown, still rolled pretty well.

Great Course with “Hot Deals” Pricing
Fun Course for the Hot Deals Price I Paid. Typical Smallish Greens but More than Fair Fairways. Some Water comes into play on a few Holes, but it’s not just like some courses, where it’s Every Hole!
I’d play it again for the same fee’s.
Pace of play was just over 4 hours. Very Good cause the course was crowded!

There is always room for more
For the price to play Golf at PPCC it should include: more than Greens Fee & Cart like - Practice Balls; uses of all facilities like the short game area ; etc… Due to computer problems there was some staff confusion and a bit of a problem with getting the round started..
When asked if I would recommend PPCC to a friend I said Yes…but….my real response is: “It depends” 0n several factors like a reasonable greens fee , etc…
Will I play PPCC again? Yes- but far far less than I had hoped I would play during my 10 week visit

Thought it would be better
I I have been playing this course For the last five years and the last couple of years the new owners has put plenty of money into it you can see he’s really trying to make improvements and it shows .the cost to play it has really gone up . A little Overprice I think So I was a little disappointed in the greens they were OK with a little bit of pace but bumpy and I saw some weeds in them not bad though but nobody fixes ball marks over there
