For this time of the year, things are a bit dry and the greens are a bit shaggy.
Still a good round
Nice summertime course in Cape Coral
Found this course on golf now when I was here in March, at that time it was a little high in price due to in season for this area. Came back in June and looked it up to check the summer rates. Golf Now had a 39 dollar hot deal so decided to give it a try. Course has a driving range, putting green and chipping green, so go early to work on your game and get loose before your round. Staff was friendly and helpful although they don’t allow chipping around the putting green which they did have posted but in a very small way which I didn’t notice, but no problem, that was on me. The course has several tee boxes for every level of play. For the most part the box, fairway and greens were in pretty good shape, a couple of greens had bad spots but that was the only real flaws in the course. I am currently playing at a 12 handicap on this course from the white tees at 6200 yards and shot 86, so plays pretty close to handicap. All in all, I would recommend an out of season round and will most definitely give this track another round or two before I head home.

Clubhouse closed?
Why would you close your clubhouse? We wanted to join as club members but they keep the clubhouse closed all summer? Why would one pay for that?

Must Play
Phenomenal track - oldest Arthur hills in florida. Excellent layout, playable for all skill levels and wonderful condition. Short game area, range, and huge putting green.
Absolute must play for anyone in SW florida.

Very Good Golf course
Very little water for a SWF course but made up for it with trees....thus the name. Course was very fair with good size landing areas. Greens were in very good shape and receptive. T boxes were level and well taken care of. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic
Course is extremely fun to play. Oldest Arthur hills layout in florida. Very well maintained, ice water and clean bathrooms on both front and back 9. Challenging but fair for all levels of golfers. Don’t miss a chance to play a TRUE hidden gem in SW Florida. Service and selection in pro shop and halfway house are 5/5. Range and short game area are also top notch.

Great day of golf
This is a well maintained course with staff all over the place working to make it even better. We were told that the owner was investing heavily in improving the property, and it shows. My playing partner and I were challenged and enjoyed the layout. We were planning on visiting 2 courses during this vacation, but we are strongly considering returning here instead.

Great price now that it’s May. The owner takes great care of the course and the conditions get a B+. Great staff. Driving range and chipping/bunker practice area. Nice snack bar with good drinks. I have played back tees, blues and whites and the course can play differently from each tee. I usually get paired up with another group or a member, and those always turn out great. Overall, this course is great and is totally worth the money.
