Tough greens
Overall course in good condition. Tee to green the course played as you would expect. However the greens where firm and fast. Which was OK. They had a lot of undulation, causing more 3 puts than normal.
First Round at PP in 2025
Course is in great shape, staff is friendly. I have played PP several times over the past few years and always enjoy the round. I'm not sure how often I'll play it in 2025, rates are up quite a bit, $149 standard rate. Can't walk, but that's the norm here in Florida. Last few years there were often HOT DEALS in the $80 range, not so much this year. I'd pay $89 and play 3-4 times a week, but $149 will limit my rounds at PP. Greens are incredibly fast & hard.
Nice layout. Greens could hold better but were true with good speed. Really friendly staff.
Absolutely outstanding
The course has had an entire makeover tee to green.
Everything was perfect. The green fee of $129 is worth it. We came from Fort Wayne, Indiana. We will definitely play this course again.
Great course
This was a beautiful golf course…had breakfast and an adult beverage. Nice putting green, pitch area and the driving range didn’t have time to do… Courses in wonderful shape…. Nice and green.. Saw a Lemur out there. Played with a Fatjer and his son. Just a great day!
Golf at Palmetto Pine
We are here on vacation since Nov. 20th and played about 6 times on different courses. This one was the best. We will definetely come back.
Great Renovation of the Front 9
The recent renovation of the front 9 has made a very good track even better.
With the back 9 being done a couple of years ago, Palmetto is a very good course and a challenge for golfers of any skill level.
The new owner continues to invest and make improvements that are evident to any that have played the course in the past.
If you have not been there in a while, you should re-visit.
My only concern is pricing, as fees continue to increase, and I'm not sure that increases reflect the value compared to the options available.
18 holes of fun
I was really glad to see that all 18 holes were open, since the last time I was here they had hurricane damage that needed repairing. Course is an excellent shape ,very plush. The superintendent and his crew deserve applause. I would definitely be back.
